Ah, you're right. There is still hope.

Disappearance is definitely included. They even referenced it for an advertisement before, when the official Haruhi website suddenly became an error page (disappeared), where you will need to input a password found in the Disappearance novel to be redirected to the actual website.
Peace.
Wow, that's like smart and extreme at the same time.Originally Posted by shinta|hikari

Tell us if it's good.
What's with the lag though? Ep12's out, but neither [Suchi] nor [Yuki]'s pumped out ep11. I want to see who killed the guy.

[Yuki] The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - 11 (1280x720.h264)
@Buff: I think the 'lag' is because some people only care about subbing the new episodes while [Yuki] and [Sushi] are actually subbing the whole season.
@ep 12: 'Rich but not filling' is how I'd describe it. At first glance nothing really happens this ep so it seemed a bit tedious on the first watch through, the S.O.S brigade just does a bunch of random summer activities at Haruhi's behest and Kyon gripes about the hassle of it all. The 'rich' part I realized later as I thought back on just how many different activities get packed into this one ep and all the nice scenes they set up with the characters. There were numerous venues, numerous costume changes, and plenty of great snapshots reminding the viewer of some of each characters' particular traits. Kyon was bitter and sarcastic, Haruhi was super-genki but with a hint of an almost desperate desire to live life to the fullest, Mikuru was a cute ditz, Yuki was robotic/doll-like (I also got the impression that she doesn't require rest, has this been mentioned before?), and Koizumi was cheerfully obedient and supportive of whatever Haruhi wanted to do. I'm not sure this ep had anything to do with anything in terms of plot but it was fun to just watch it for the orgy of sights and experiences the cast went through.
I noticed that chronologically the first seasons episode 12 took place during the school festival while ep 11's took place during what I assume was the same summer break referenced in this new ep 12. It makes sense that there would be some time lag between the start of second term and the school festival so I guess this new ep 12 falls in between them. If I remember correctly the final chronological episode of the first season took place after the cultural festival and as it was starting to get colder possibly right before the winter break. If the new material is going to chronologically extend the old series then we may be in for another batch of first season eps before the next 'new' ep. But at the same time, there seems to be plenty of time between the first season eps for stuff to get inserted in so maybe we'll get a whole arc that takes place between summer break and the school festival.

A bunch of random events best describes this episode, and it's also relaxing.

I thought Mazui's video quality was worse than normal.

I'll assume it means ep13 is also new.

It should be, since the previous one is not supposed to end there.
Peace.
Yeah. It doesn't end at 13 neither. This episode was more ecchi than normal. More than the last one at least.Originally Posted by shinta|hikari

Are there no good subs for 12 or 13? And am I correct in believing that these 2 episodes are new?
You tried Mazui? I found them quite watchable. I'm still archiving [Yuki} for completeness's sake though.Originally Posted by narutosharingan

I'm archiving a.f.k.'s group since they did the first season of Haruhi. They are good.

Hey all, I want to watch this show but I'm confused as hell about it. I have the first 14 episodes but I'm reading all sorts of crazy episode order talk. Do I watch these 14, then watch the new episodes after? Or should I fit these new episodes into the series that way or whatand what order to watch the episodes in? Sorry if I sound stupid!
I would just watch the first season, then the second. You can try to match their chronological order by visiting this website (spoilers; make sure to follow the C category one, or "Haruhi order"), but I wouldn't recommend it since the second season episodes don't come out as fast for you to watch it side-by-side.

Ok thanks, I guess I'll watch them in the order they aired and hope it all clicks into place. Like Baccano ya?

I watched the third episode. I really thought that I downloaded the same thing, but seeing that the second half was different, I was reassured. Confusing, but mysterious episode.

I thought I was seeing the same thing for like the first 30 seconds too. Then I remembered Kyon wasn't topless in the other, and Haruhi hung up longer before the next call, so I was like wtf? Thought it was a v2 alternate airing joke of some sort for some time.
