To anyone who read volume 2
Shamisen's intro had the be the funniest part of the novel! seriously. In the beginning i thought he was better in the show (more mysterious). but everyone's reaction was just hilarious.
another thing... does anyone know what the "only me" movie Haruhi watched was? i found one from 1937, but i'm not sure if that's it.
I seriously hope they show the making of the movie in the a second season or an OVA (they could actually release small OVAs explaining little parts of the season... that'd be nice)
Should we be talking about the novels here? I would imagine that any discussion regarding the novels would be in the manga section, considering how there may be some people who are not going to read the novels and hopefully wait for another season.

There is no proof about a 2nd Season.
That Newtype was referring to the just released DVD's.
I thought I'd heard there might be an OVA or something with this show because the author of the books it is based on recently came out with another. I'll have to look and see where I heard that as this is one of my favorite shows. The music in this series was great.
Quick KitKat! figure out this person's native tounge wit your cool linguistic's powers! Anyway, all 14 eps are out by a.f.k, and ep one wasn't like everything else in the series, It was Basically Mytstery Haruhi Theater 2006, with Kyon commenting on a movie staring the charachters from the show.
EDIT @ BELOW: MHT 2006, like it's predecessor did in fact WTFPWN the universe, my post didn't make that clear before.

Just HOW can you not love the first episode? It was damn funny as hell!
my favorite line from the first episode: "If your face gets any closer, someone who's not supposed to be in this scene is going to walk over and kick your ass! OY!"
There is something still bothering me. For the first episode, are Kyon's comments the movie narration or are they his personal thoughts? Does anybody know definitively?
