Alright, so I've currently gotten pretty bored with WoW, and am considering leaving my high end raiding guild and waiting for the next MMO that looks interesting. I was wondering what the opinion on this forum is like. To start off the conversation, I'll state the three I'm currently looking at and why...
1. Vanguard - This is currently the frontrunner for me. I know it didn't get a great showing at E3, but I'm hoping that with the 5 or so months left (supposedly) till release they can improve the game. It's made by Sigil Games, which is run by Brad McQuaid, who was one of the original designers for EQ1 (before it was ruined). Vanguard sounds interesting because it seems like it will cater more towards the hardcore crowd, and I like the idea of going back to concepts like old-school Lower Guk dungeon-style (from EQ1), aka, non-instanced dungeons, where groups pick a spawn point and camp it. Some people think that the game was given the kiss of death recently when Sigil moved to SoE as a publisher, but if you look at their track record, the servers will be stabler than Blizzard's, at least, and it will definately have a lot of money going into the game. Not to mention that SoE is only publishing the game, not developing, and Sigil claims they will maintain complete creative control.

2. Age of Conan- AoC as it's more commonly known as looks interesting in the sense that it will bring a lot of unique ideas to the MMO community. What turns me off from AoC is the concept that you play the first 20 levels solo, and only after do you begin interacting with the online community. While siege warfare and such does sound like fun, I think that once the concept of Mortal Kombat-style gore wears off, this game will lose a lot of its following.

3. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning- This seems to be one of the most hyped MMOs out there atm, which is the reason why I briefly considered it. The problem I see with it though is that it is too similar to WoW, which ending up boring me after a while. I know that I can't expect a game to hold my interest for an unthinkable amount of time, but to go from one boring game to a similar game just doesn't seem like a smart idea. The other reason why I dismissed this game was that the estimated release date is Q4 2007, which is too far away atm for my tastes...

That's it for my take on the situation, what's everyone else's opinions.
