Shinsen Subs is now also subbing this show and have released the first two episodes.

Shinsen Subs - Glass no Kantai Episode 1
Shinsen Subs - Glass no Kantai Episode 2

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

Watched ep 1... wow... uhm, they really went overboard with the amount of ships and soldiers in the army...

impressions : the art is beautiful, but the animation is so-so. the semi-space setting reminds me of Last Exile along with the aristocratic feel. the main idea of the story is simple enough but it could lead to intricacies... overall... well, ep2 just finished downloading and i'm quite eager to know what happens next. so...

EDIT: Ep 2 was better than ep 1 in my opinion. for now... this show really seems to follow Last Exile's example. really... i'm going to keep watching

I'm bumping this... I just watched episodes 3 and 4... and the feel is different than what we get in ep 1... it really becomes an interesting adventure. also, for me, the end of episode 3 was really unexpected.

Wow, just watched episode 1 and that shit really sucked. It felt like I was watching a crappy low budget play in a theater. I think the writers of this series must have forgotten that there is no air in space, also.

you have to watch more than that... and get past the air in space thing. there are no such things as giant spaceships either. really, I think the show has a low budget, but really, it seems that the story has more depth than "the Emperor is the bad guy and the heir will kill him kinda thing". Personally, for me, it might (emphasis on the word "might") end up like Juuni Kokuki (Which had the crappiest first ep... or even first three eps I had ever seen. I only kept watching cuz it was such a huge file and i felt bad for downloading it.)
I might be completely wrong, but there is something about this show that made me want to keep watching after ep 1. Ep 2 is more interesting, and 3-4 are quite good (just to say... 4 is one long duel that i didn't see coming)
