well i'm pretty sure he will die. if this bountu thing is just like your avg hollow, then im pretty sure that the deserter will "sacrifice" himself for kariya and then afterwards kariya will not care and thatll probably enrage ichigo or something, which will give him a power boost and he'll destroy kariya--either that or i'm totally off and ishida is the one who kills kariya.
any hoo im pretty sure the deserter will lose one way or another, but guessing on the titles, the bounto thing is gonna be on for a while. its 1 year till aisen can use that square thing right?

Hmm, I think that the "Deserter" will die eventually, it is treason afterall. I was disappointed that this week didnt have a episode, but looking foward to the upcoming episodes.
I do agree with djblingsingh that either Ichigo or Ishida will be the hero. But I am leaning toward Ichigo.

no we don't. Those fuckers could start up another season of fillers. Just like Naruto. But i am hoping not. Actually not getting my hopes up for anything. It will end when it ends and not a moment before. So we will just have to wait.

The episode name of 96 pretty much proves that it's the end of the fillers.
Good times. At least it proves Pierrot still can return from the realm of fillers, which gives some hope back to the Naruto situation, as well.
Unless it's mistranslated, ep 96 is most likely the end of fillers. They wouldn't put that as a title and not go back (I hope). However, they could introduce them, and then move on to more fillers.
Its great to know that fillers are ending but episode 96 is still ten weeks away. However it makes sense that the fillers are ending when they do. Once the anime gets back into the main storyline, the manga should be around 60 chapters ahead of where they start which makes sense. Squeezing a few fillers here and there in between the arc, it should be enough for us to watch another bleach arc without much discontinuity. However i am probably saying this keeping the Naruto manga-anime pacing in mind. In bleach, one anime episode usually covers more of the manga than in Naruto

It's great that everyone is so excited about end of fillers, so am I. However, I just wanted to make it clear I don't know the source of these titles.
I don't want to be lynched later for getting every one's hopes up. :\
Looks lke however it is possible for them to continue the fillers, a series coming to a end maybe around 140 eps? Not for bleach seeing how they signed a deal to get licensed. I figure they are doing the same thing as naruto, going to extend the series and make the company buy more eps.
Why would the series end at 140?
