Nana
This title seems to be very popular, especially through the manga, though I myself haven't seen any of it. The Live-Action movie was just released by the group Mendoi:

There's also an anime TV Series coming this Spring at some point, I think April 5 or May 4, one of the two.
"Two young women, both with the name Nana, one with a punk backround and another with the naive upper middle class mindset, find each other in Tokyo, as they pursue love and careers. Their transition to the adult phase is not without drama."

If it was Nana from Elfen Lied, I would be the first to download this...
Edit: Uh, not a very useful post... Gotta add something. Well, now I understand why one anime guru friend on mine asked me "What? The Japanese make live action movies?", when I mentioned some title to him. Based on the short description, this one seems like to have a very generic idea, and in a certain sense you would think the live action field of entertainment would have had a ton of similar movies/series. But of course it's not stupid to acquire ideas from anime/manga, as it seems very talented (most talented) people are working there.
