I find this serie pretty good because of those I currently watch it has a main character that isn't afraid to actually kill his enemies. Whish is nice for a change. Can be a tad boring somethimes due to way to much talking when fighting. I'd rate it as 7/10.
Too much talk during fights is a real shounen show characteristic. I guess you get used to it after watching n shounen shows... I suppose it's a way to save money as talking isn't expensive to animate, and on the other hand it could be a (little questionable) way of advancing the story.
Man, I'm missing the wind. I don't know what the old geezer exactly wants Zed to do, but I'm just wishing before each and every episode that Zed would again climb to some high place to find the wind anew. And then do what he wants to do and not concern himself what all those lazy old idiots in the town want him to do yet are at the same time unable to get out of their mouths.
The old geezer said one good thing in this ep: That Roia is fine because she has found her own place. I wonder how long it will take for Zed to achieve that; only then could he become a real badass and a worthy opponent to the innumerable villains in this series.
The next ep was released pretty quickly. Jolly good.
Episode 41 - Kyuu
I dont really consider fighting in this series fighting at all. Its either too predictable or too unpredictable. Spirits are like huge pokemon, and whats worst, you dont even need strategy to use them. Amil Gaul just slashes, something dies, swordslash, does or does not continue to kill, end of fight. This is the summary of basically most of the fights in the series.
Ive said way before at the beginning of this thread, but I really hate Zed. I just find nothing likeable about him. Storytelling is also too rushed and kind of choppy, and chemistry between the characters just suck. I might be biased because I actually like good anime, and this fails miserably compared to others.

I would have to agree that it isn't exactly a top notch anime, but it has it's moments. About the talking, maybe it's just me since I've seen more animes lately that isn't shounen, which have been way more interessting.
I enjoy this anime. This is one of the few anime I actually do enjoy watching beyond 26 episodes. I hope they keep making more episodes.
