I was a little annoyed by the Lady Gaga reference, but this episode was still pretty good. I really like the episodes with a lot of layers of hilarity like the wrestling one though.

Sapphy is a very temperamental and feisty girl, i don't think there's anything she doesn't have a strong opinion about
15 minutes of fame references like that (esp. with no plot connecting it to anything) make me feel like the episode is losing it's timelessness.

Looks like Trey and Matt got exactly what they wanted out of this episode, lots of discussion.
Like some commenters there noted, it looks like GLAAD didn't watch the part of the episode where the bikers go through the dictionary, or that the kids, including Cartman, weren't homophobic in any way.
It seems to me that some groups would rather cling to the derogatory definition of the word because it is, "their word," rather than let the natural evolution of language take away any hurtful or malicious meaning to the word away. The same thing happened with the word "gay" too. If you just take a word and exclusively use it to describe your group eventually changing the meaning of the word in society, you can't cry foul when another group tries to do the same thing. Words can't be owned.

South Park does it again
If the word fag becomes a general term to denote negative stuff in general i wouldn`t be any happier, no idea what GLAAD is thinking, if we start banin south park episodes because it`s offensive, there would be no south park... at ALL.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say I can sort of see where they're coming from. While GLAAD do get the joke, if even a few people think saying the word is suddenly ok and start saying it more, then it's a bad thing. I don't really think it's a problem but I can see both sides of the argument.

Goddamn that episode was not subtle at all. Feels a little late for South Park to be jumping on the Glenn Beck hate train, but it was perfect in every way.
I loved what they did with the Smurfs thing.
Yeah, I think Matt and Trey are overlooking the fact that just because a word isn't offensive to them doesn't mean it's not offensive to others.

thought the one-note-joke about faggots made for a pretty weak episode. i just didnt get a kick out of alot of the episode, and i really could have cared less about the bikers. they made their point, but without being very clever, and it was a bit preachy for my tastes.
i did laugh at the scene with Butters telling the kids about why he wants to be a Harley rider, and Stan's comment of "that makes perfect sense"
