Hantsuki: Looking up at the Half-Moon

Episode 4 is out by KuroNeko, but for some reason the direct point-black link to the torrent isn't working. It's still possible to get the well seeded torrent for example by getting the torrent from mininova:

Episode 4 - KuroNeko (Mininova download page)

No doubt the direct link / server will be fixed at some point, and the proper link can be posted here. But until then this seems to be the easiest way.

Edit: A fine episode once again. But Rika's hourglass is quickly running out of sand.

Hantsuki: Looking up at the Half-Moon

A pic of eloped Rika. This series has nice graphics, but the picture quality of some releases is less than desirable, as has been previous said.

Hantsuki: Looking up at the Half-Moon

The next episode of Hantsuki is ready for those of us who love this series:

    Episode 5 - KuroNeko

Edit: A truly excellent episode. I have no idea what will happen in the last episode. It could be a really sad ending, making this series a realistic tragedy of a kind. If it despite everything turns out to be a happy ending, it wouldn't still ruin this. The fact remains this has been a truthful, beautiful, touching series no matter what.

Hantsuki: Looking up at the Half-Moon

Well, the last episode is here.

    Episode 6 - KuroNeko

It was a short but beautiful story. Very down-to-earth, yet highly spirited and inspiring. Both joyful and sad, filled despair and hope. The characters were very good in this series. Some of them seemed a bit crazy, but it was more understandable, as more and more of their past and past choices were revealed. Realistic shows often turn ruthless, like the reality tends to be, but this show avoided that feeling, even if the ending wasn't all sunshine.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora

I've just finished watching this anime, and it is one of the best romance anime series i have ever seen. It is only 6 episodes long but it is definitely worth watching, lots of stuff happen in a single episode also which makes an episode seem like it is very long. If you're a fan of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien or any of the other sad romance animes then you should definitely watch this.

This show is very different compared to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. Using that show as an example might actually scare somebody away... There's little psychological darkness in this series.

Edit: There actually was already a good thread for Hantsuki. I didn't even notice you made a new thread; I thought I was just posting on a new page...

    threads merged.

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

I'm sorry to bump that old thread, that was just to say thanks for that show that was very nice.
The ending is full of hopes, and we even get a wedding pic.
This show was about living our lives to to fullest, each day, as today maybe the last day.

The show wasn't really clear about this, but was rika heart transplanted? or did she have another kind of op?
In the second case, provided her tissues can build strengh over time, a transplantation bould be a solution.
What I mean is that each day she lives, can be a day when a solution for her arises.
be optimistic, live our lives to the fullest, have faith in the future.

Im actualy hoping that she dies because of her disease eventually. Otherwise, the whole struggle in the series would be for moot. If she somehow lives, its like some fairytale ending that simply doesnt feel the melancholy in the show. Immediate happiness over permanence is always one of my favorite themes, though admittedly it is quite saddening.

I'm not normally watching jdrama, the Japanese being less than stellar live action makers in my opinion, but I spotted a live action version of this jolly good story being subbed, and decided to have a look. Since I know a few people over here watches jdrama, here are links to the first two episodes in case you haven't noticed and are interested:

    Episode 1 live action - SkewedS-SaiMin
    Episode 2 live action - SkewedS-SaiMin
    Edit:: Episode 3 live action - SkewedS-SaiMin

This actually seems to be quite a nice adaptation. It hasn't affected me as much as the anime had after two eps, but it has the same kind of vibes going on nonetheless. Rewatching the series had visited my mind recently so it was good timing as well that this series started to get released now. I'll watch it till the end. (The eps are only 25 mins, so just checking it out won't take too much time.)

Would any of you guys happen to know where I could get the anime series? After reading the description from your posts I really want to check it out. I can't find either AnimeUniverse's (didn't see anything on their channel) or KuroNeko's.
This fantastic Sousuke sig was made by the one and only Lucifus! Thanks man!

but it seems there's no peer... I have the exact correct files, but I don't know if I can become a peer with them without risking erasing them...

    edit:
I'm uploading it do DF, as soon as it's ready I'll pm you with the link. Should take around 45 minutes I guess.
edit2: DF is saying bullshit regarding the time left for upload compared to actual speed. So either it'll be 1hour and an half like I calculated, or DF will screw me...
Searching for an alternative, just in case.
