Hell Yeah. They've entered the digital world.

Typically with other Digimon shows, it takes about seven or eight episodes before a villain is introduced and a real story arc starts up. The first handful of episodes are just the new digidestined/tamers and their partners fighting champion-level digimon. I think this is to allow the viewers to get used to the main characters.

The two main groups who fansub digimon are With the Will (WtW) and Wolf Pack Productions (WPP). These two groups have a different philosophy on fansubbing.

WtW believes in strict translation directly form Japanese to English (even when the phrases don't make much sense in English). They compare "loose" translationds to the work of idiot dubbers who change plotlines, erase swearing, and americanize names.
To them, itadakimasu translates "I am ready to receive."

WPP believes in a softer translation by changing japanese phrases into something that an English-speaking audience can more easily understand. They don't believe that such rigid translation is necessary.
To them, itadakimasu translates "Let's eat."

Typically, WtW is faster, but they also abandon projects when they get bored. WPP stays with the project, but they may take a while to finish everything.

From the shadow pictures, they seem like bulky tanks, and their megas looke even bulkier(talking about agunmon and the dog). And I never did like bulky mega level digimon.

The Raws are up to episode 15 and there's finally a real villain. It looks like the Olympian 12 are going to be the villains in this series, starting with Mercurimon.

Here's a link to the episode 8 fansub.

Thanks for the link kippy. I hadn't even noticed that WtW had released a new episode. I must be slipping.

For those without the time or the inclination to download, here's the youtube links: Episode 14 part 1, Episode 14 part 2, Episode 14 part 3.

    Edit: 500th post Woot!
