Dang, I wish I could draw that good. I've tried to draw some characters before but I just suck and they end up looking like something drawn in Paint.You're good.

I can draw Dragonball Z character by looking at a pic like that, but otherwise, I'm hopeless.

i resized them, the actual size was 2mb per picture and 12**x17** and up

i think the body looks good, the head seems a bit disproportional though, but good none the less

Dude that Gaara drawing is great! You should take up for the fools they got drawing the filler eps these days, it might actually make the show enjoyable. Keep it up dude those are really nice.
i agree with ifinghatetonton, also your skills are something that can easily be recognized as talent. ever thought about making manga or something? anyways, keep going at it, you never know when it just might come in handy.

Usually I have 'nice' ways of phrasing compliments, but honestly those two are simply awesome. If you didn't use tracing or try to replicate from a pic right in front of you I'd certainly say you have potential to do alot more.
Be interesting to see an action shot or one with a background. Keep it up man.

darkshadow, the one of the girl is real amazing eye wise, im surprised you got it to look like that with pencil work. the only thing i see wrong with that is the jawline seems a bit to steep. that jawline would be perfect for drawing a bad guy/girl, but just make the jawline a little bit duller than have it taht sharp. alwo on her left, t hari seems to be a bit too big-unless* you drew her in 'action' which then it looks fine.
the one of gaara is pretty much perfect. i dont see anythign wrong with it except that tehre might be a bit too much detail on gaara's hair but then again its a sketch so no biggie looks fine actually, and i must say you're pretty damn good with shading there
