nowdays, emo applies to three diffent types of look.
A. The old time gothic black&red style.
B. The 60-70's vintage/retro. british infulence of vivid colors (mainly bright mellow colors, like green, orange and violet) with stupid hairdos.
C. The new age girl punk. semi goth blakc meets hot girls with pink nail-polish = HOT.
Blond emo girls are also hot but i have to say i prefer the brunettes

I can't admit that, since she looks like a zombie in both. Not only are they angled but you never see her full face.
She looks a great deal better in the second picture, but that's because I cannot see the bone through her skin, since a lot less of it shows in that picture. I love the gothic look on a girl, it's my favorite, but um...this girl looks re-animated in the first pic. I cannot for the life of me see this girl's second pic outside of the context created by the first one.
The Barbie dolls might give me nightmares x_X;;

well, time to get a bit more serious...
what is it? what do you like or lets say why would you prefer those emo-kids..
there is only one thing i can admit is "good looking" (yet, not HOT!... its more like "cute") and that are the eyes because of the black make-up. it makes them look bigger and somehow deeper... and sometimes their hair. however i believe there are other ways to style yourself.
another positive thing is that they wear a lot of a accessories... this could lead (with the right clothing) to the point of turning me on, for example i like the "arm-gloves" and i could imagine her to wear something like a hairband or so.,i guess this would lead to a totally different direction. it won't look like "gothic" anymore if i would dress her but more like a kid(or woman) cosplaying someone or just being cute lol ^^.
but these kids are still just weird.. i can't stand this "i live in darkness *wobooohuuuu*" stuff..
i don't know how those kids/people act in real life, but if i have to judge them by watching those pictures, i m about to say "KILL IT WITH FIRE!" because i'd think thats just what they want..
well maybe, if they react normal and just dress a bit more "special", then thats another story. i rarely see people like that in real life, so i don't know for sure.
