    "Leechers"

    Ok... People post things up for the public to download. The public downloads and then the People complain that they are leechers.

    It doesn't make sense to me. If you don't want leechers then why not make it private??!?! Some websites require you to participate in the forums and have so many posts before you can start downloading (spam doesnt count).

    But my question is... Why do people post things and complain about leechers?

    participation has nothing to do with leeching. people complain cuz leechers download thier files, but dont bother uploading/seeding anyhting. Just cuz someone is nice enough to offer some files for you to download doesn't mean your allowed to be a dickhead and just take it and leave.

    When somebody posts something for the general audience to download, it's his prerogative to be allowed to complain freely, when they do download. It's just part of the business. And it's not like the complaining hurts you, as long as the item is kept available.
