I haven't posted a picture in a while, eh? I suppose it's time I updated. We had a photoshoot for our website the other day with my lab group. So here's me with my coworkers and fellow students.

That's a very athletic John Krasinski to your right.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

it's like a sitcom made in the year 2100, when the Koreans have taken over the world.

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

Koreans? Those guys are all Chinese, except for the one guy that's 1/4 chinese, 1/4 taiwanese, 1/4 japanese and 1/4 spanish.

@Xan: lol, he is very athletic (he won a new blackberry and hundreds of dollars of gift certificates in a race last week). The picture is deceptive though. The resemblance isn't that strong.

@Archie: What, you've never seen one of my pictures before? You've missed such classics as 'KitKat dresses up as an Anbu for Halloween', 'KitKat plays DDR in a formal gown' and 'KitKat wears makeup for the only time in the past 5 years'

What the hell? A race? Like as in a foot race? For some reason that sounds like "The Underground Track and Field Circuit" or something. sounds like a Channing Tatum film in the making.

What, a white guy can't win a foot race?? You racist bastard.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Huh? I was just shocked that he won prizes for running. I didn't know that sort of thing went on...well, it IS Canada; so different rules apply, I guess.

Are you f*cking kidding? The WORLD is full of Chinese people. The Indians/Pakistanis are in a race with the Chinese to overpopulate the world and drive all other species and races into extinction. No offense to any Chinese folks on the forums, but you know it's true.

This was going into the "Is there anything wrong with that" thread but it seems as appropriate here.

The race was more kinda like 'The Amazing Race' with little challenges in between the actual running bits, organized by the university.

And samson, this is Vancouver. The southern part of the city is about as close as you get to living in China without actually living in China. Our immigration laws are a lot less stringent than the USA, so this is the closest and easiest place for people to come from Asia, and most of them don't end up leaving this city.

After the Tiananmen Square (1989) incident, Australia and Canada were places of choice for anyone looking to migrate out of Hong Kong before the British handed it back to China in 1997.

Lol, that is so true. I've been to Vancouver a few times in the last couple years since i have an uncle living there and everytime i come over, we would always go visit the outdoor chinese shops. It really feel like i'm in Hong Kong sometimes.

What was the occasion? Or were you actually in China?

Japanese restaurant. It was my friend on the left's birthday.

Our chef was a funny guy, but he kept dropping the knives when he juggled them. Got quite scared.

anyways, so the chefs put out a show for you? that's cool, although it can be dangerous (especially if you happen to make racial jokes).

Yeah, he did all that stuff. He's actually doing the volcano onion thing in that picture. I guess it was taken about a split second after the fire stopped coming out.

I remember my mother, father and I went out to a place like that. It looked cool, but they had no vegetarian food, so I just sat there and watched
