eh... my computer is pretty beasty but my 3870 gets really hot when i run in fullscreen w\ highest res. so i run window'd at lower resolution and don't get blue screens...
and saying that, im going to find a waterblock for my 3870 to fix this issue.
My x1900 can heat up the room from 60F to around 85F if I'm continually running WoW all day, so I kind of know what you're talking about. Speaking of, I need desperately to upgrade my hardware... all of it. My system's parts are about a year old (though I can't say I've used them all that time).
