Canada has an army? Isn't that an oxymoron?

That's what I used to think too. Then one day in high school, my teacher said we do, indeed, have an army.

I still think it's just propaganda.

BFA or Blank firing attachment, it's so we don't hurt anyone during trainning firing blank rounds. As well it is a Canadian Diemaco C7 not a M16 they aren't very differrent but it can be fired in either semi-automatic or automatic mode, instead of the burst fire as well has structural strengthening, improved handguards, and a longer stock.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diemaco_C7).

It is and I could show you... but alas I'd have to scan a training book of some sort.

You mean the C8 Carbine? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C8_Rifle) well because we use the c7 as a standard infantry personal firearm, and C8's are given to tankers, engineers and other trades.

and they are strapped to me just with really crappy old straps as the new ones are being used in deployment

    Thanks for thanks though

You look like one of the cavemen from the Geico commercials. Nice shirt though. What's the imprint say?

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Cavemenism wasn't the first thing that came to mind, but you do look like you're in good shape.

No more fancy poses this time.

To answer both questions at the same time, it's a guinea pig and I'd force her to put up a 'V' sign too if her paws were bigger.

You shouldn't look so down Python. New haircuts usually looks a bit iffy during the first two weeks anyway, and if you went from such long hair to short, it'll probably take a few tries to work out how best to wear it.

Now that you've cut it...does that mean you went for your job interview?

Ha, the cut was too late for the interview, so I had my hair tied back for it. The thing is, Panera Bread has this whole "three-interview process", so now I'm waiting for them to call me back in for the second. As for how to wear it, I'm completely confused. It's too short to style excepting for the possibility of spikes - but that pretty much screams homosexuality now-a-days. I can't split it down the middle like I did for my lengthier hair, 'cause (as you can see) it just isn't working out. So far, the best option for me is just keeping a hat on it.

I wasn't actually so upset in the pictures, I was just trying to get the best view without looking like a jackass.

Three interviews?? A bit overkill isn't it? One's enough IMO. You can assess everything you want in just one meeting. Any more is just a waste of time and resources.

Hair-wise, I didn't have anything in mind really. I guess I was just referring to different ways you can have it, like neat/messy, sleek+swept back or lifted and volumised, .....and stuff.

Meh, hope the application goes well though. Funnily enough, when I went to my job interview, they pretty much just wanted what hours you were available for, and you pretty much had a job. They might have been short on staff though. But it was a pizza place, so prior skill is not an issue.
