I don't understand the point of these threads. I come to forums to discuss an anime and then rag on people and make a nuisance of myself when people inevitably disagree with my point of view. It's a lot harder to do that if I have an image of what you all look like. Then I just feel bad messing with you when I imagine you crying .

I think perhaps you answered your own question in your post. You don't understand this thread, because the purpose of forums for you is argument. Many of us though see this forum as more than just a static exchange of ideas. Personally, I'm not so keen on discussing anime with strangers. I like discussing anime at gotwoot because many people here are my friends, people I know and respect, and I'm interested in what they have to say, just as they're interested in what I have to say. Knowing who someone is, not just what they think about anime, makes me a lot more likely to read their posts, and want to engage in discussion with them.

Well I'm interested in the anime, not some other weirdos who watch it or what they think about it. If I want to meet some weirdos I can talk to the people around me, not on a forum. I find too often people will not speak truthfully or they will temper their statements so they don't step on any toes or upset any of their "friends". In real life, you have to do that more than I like, but I'll be damned if I have to be that way on a message board.

I'll post my pictures sooner or later, so you all know who just owned you.

@assertn: Nah, just like with my handle, I stuck something there that doesn't really mean anything because I didn't plan on staying around. But I dislike so many of you so much, I had to stay and mess with you all.
