Renji seems to be implying that, if they hadn't gotten an opening by the big show of Limit Releasing, they would have been owned, and those weren't even Espadas!
Ichigo seems to be struglig to hold back his hollow side too, and with Tousen showing up, this isn't looking good for our heroes.
I liked how Ichigo learned a new move on the spot. Good to see that he can still get more skills, even though the hollow inside him most likely played a factor in it.
Maybe instead of fighting the hollow-Ichi, they've met a bit of accordance? His last line said "Wait, it'll just be a little longer, so.." rather than "STFU GO AWAY."
Was that a new move? It looked just like his getsuga Tensou to me. I thought the different name was just a translation thing.
One other thing, is it just me, or did Hitsugaya's Bankai seem to be holding back his injuries? or was that just for dramatic effect? And why is it that Hitsugaya's bankai is still incomplete and has a time limit, whereas Ichigo only developed his bankai a few days/weeks ago (I forget which) and is able to use it without any restrictions that we've seen?

Well apparently zanpaktous can temporarily "stop" their wounds. Remember when Ichigo fought Kenpachi?? Zangetsu stopped the bleeding of his wound until the fight was over.Originally posted by: rockmanj

wasnt the trick ichigo just used the one his hollow self used against byakuya? I believe it was so maybe he learning some tricks from his hollow self and kinda like negotiating with it.
I dont get whats so bad about the hollow coming out the other vizords seem find. is there really a downside
I think it's a matter of learning to control it and/or a matter of using his power for your own benefit instead of being overtaken by the hollow side.
whell didnt the other vizord tell him to join them so he can learn to control him. for some reason Ichigo just doesnt wanna have a hollow side there has to be some sort bad consequence become vizord other wise I dont really see a bad side to it.
It might be more of a personal thing to Ichigo. Ichigo's mother was killed by a hollow, so he hates them. He may just not want to be part horrible monster, as he sees it.
I really hope thats not just all. I hope there is another reason for it.
If there is isnt, then Shinigami might as well try to also turn into vizords if it makes them more powerfull
if a normal unrestricted captain can take down an arrancar just imagine how powerfull they could get if they can turn hollow
