It looks to me as though it's a Kage Bushin of Yamato, but I'm just guessing.
Though I doubt that Kishimoto would be stupid enough to draw a character when he doesn't need to
it was the wood kawamiri he replaced himself with
thats what i thought, but usually the kawarimis never really stick around after they're used...
and shouldn't the kawarimi be between the sasori disguise and yamato?

yeah it is the kawarimi, on page 13 of 290 you can see it dropping next to oro.

It said Yamato was the only one who would be able to control a Jin(whatever it is), since he has the genes of the FIrst Hokage, but wouldnt Tsuande also have some power over that since she is the First's granddaughter?

@darkmetal: just cuz shes his grandaughter doesn't mean she has the same abilities as him. its like if ur father is tall, it doesn't necessarily mean u'll be tall as well.

Heh finaly a good chapter. Good to see there is a downfall with kyubi mode and its a great one that will shorten his life. Also its interesting that Naruto can be in control while using three tails when he lost control of kyubi when he used two tails against Sasuke.
i'm guessing that at that point, he could not really control the kyuubi chakra (at two tails), but now, after training with jiraiya he has achived a modicum of control

He hurt Jiraiya with 4 tails.
I think He'll fight Sasuke with at least three or more tails... if they ever fight, that is.
