She knows what you did last summer..
------------私はコピーX 及びSimca が空を征服することを信じる------------
it falls between ocarina of time and wind waker. It looks awesome.
eh? after carefully thinking about it, it doesn't look too bad, but it doesn't have that old fashioned zelda feeling as much as the other games did.

well if you are comparing to ocarina, of course not. Well maybe we'll have to play it and see.Originally posted by: UltxDarkRedX1

I like the summoning aspect. I'd be cool to summon some animals instead of just Epona. The new battle system looks great also. The parry feature and the final stab are really great because it makes it fell more like a real fight.
For all you awesome people, it's just Phoenix. The numbers are just the amount of times people misspell it.
thats what is so awesome, it intertwines wind waker and ocarinaOriginally posted by: Phoenix20578

darkmetal, are you trying to imply the new game will involve elements from both ocarina and wind waker?

it look awsome! go link stop that goat *goat run over link*
lol
but seriously this game look awsome, but i still wonder... is it gonna come on GameCube or the Revolution... because i read somewhere(french website that talk only about game, a good website..
www.jxp.ca) that it will come out at the some time with the revolution and will be a Gamecube game, playable with the GameCube, and the revolution Controller, do you think that true?
Last I heard, gamecube games will play on the revolution.
I'd expect it to be for gamecube though, since it was supposed to be out this year.

Damn, I seriously want that game. I'm glad that we get Epona early in the game also. Though I still don't get this. Is he the Ocarina of Time Link or another Link?

The video answered that. He is a different link from the Ocarina of Time and Windwaker (obviously that one). Chronologically in the Hyrule universe, it is between Ocarina of Time and Windwaker.
Looks really good, I can't wait to get it.
Though, I wasn't impressed with Wind Waker. The gameplay and graphics were nice, but the story and zelda feeling just wasn't there. Probably the worst Zelda game I ever played.
Hope Twilight Princess doesn't disappoint me.
I guess I'm alone when I say I think Wind Waker was a wonderful experience and it was all the zelda I could ever ask for. It acted more as a transcendence of the old Link and Zelda, thus, requiring a transcending story as well. =D But oh well, we all see Zelda differently I guess.
I liked windwaker.....
but getting the triforce pieces by underwater treasure hunting instead of going through more dungeons was pretty dissappointing

I'm assuming just about everyone has played or has some experience with Windwaker
Windwaker wasn't a bad game, unless you were the one playing it. I watched my roommate play it and (I) enjoyed it a lot. He hated me SO much when I started making fun of how long it was gonna take to get all the triforce pieces.
The story is great, its just the map pieces, endless sailing, and missing the triforce pieces by a tenth of the width of the boat are where most of the complaints come from. The escort dungeons are pretty bad too, except for the one with the bird girl, since throwing her against a wall for personal amusement can make up for it. The little potato plant guy isn't as fun to throw against the wall.
But the last fight against Ganon, and the cutscene where you finish him off makes it all worth it. Best scene (and fight in the 3D games) in any Zelda game as far as I'm concerned

yea, but if you saved, you didnt get to play the game again, you have to start over.
Totally agreed. I also have to say that I wastly prefer Ganon in Windwaker compared to his other incarnations. The puppet master fight was very cool.Originally posted by: Ryllharu

/ No, you warrant no villain's exposition from me.
Seeing Ganon duel wield with such force and grace at the same time made this incarnation of Ganon my personal favorite as well. For a big guy, he sure can move
I didn't think the treasure salvaging method was all that bad, I saw plenty of error tolerance. Navigation in the beginning really did feel like a drag, but at the same time, I enjoyed watching Link at the vast sea, I felt that it was more immersive that way. I'm not saying it's a great way to travel, but there were ways around that as well. I must say...I was sorely disappointed when I saw hyrule staring at me in the face, just so an unknown force would bar me from it. At first, I unleashed all my weapons on it, hoping for a possibility of piercing the infernal wall. But alas...I gave up in my futility, oh well...a man can dream.
