heres my take on kabuto and his past

1. Sasori places him in that battle field to be found by konoha ninja when he was a kid

2. Years later Sasori "unseals" kabuto so he remembers everything about his past etc.

3. Sasori sends kabuto to Oro to to help/spy on him.

4. Oro "unseals" kabuto again to make him realize he's being used (or maybe he sealed him using his own mind control or something)

I think that we will see the begining of a battle but it will be interuped by someone, since most of the first battles in a new arc are always short. and also becuase if they are not interupted than the four konoha ninja can kiss their ass goodbye

Considering that the Kazekage (ie Gaara) Was beaten by Deidara, I doubt it. Also I can't see naruto beating Itachi. Even if Naruto is more powerful (and using his full Kyuubi-Chakra-armour thingy I think he might be) Naruto is hideously weak against Genjutsu. But this isn't a verses thread.

At the top of the list will be:

Naruto (Main character)
Sasuke (he's always in the top 2, even though he hasnt been seen for about 60 chapters)
Kakashi (The man's just a total badass. Mangekyou only adds to this)

Who I want to be high up:

Akatsuki Leader (The guy is mysterious)
Sasori (He's just awesome)
Gaara (Cool new jutsus. Cool new clothing. Is Kazekage)
Gai (Self explanitory)
Lee (Ditto)

Other:

I think that Sakura's position will probably have climbed quite a bit, due to her new found not-completly-uslessness
Sai I'm not sure about, his comments about Naruto's penis is funny (about the first two times you hear them). But otherwise he's just an asshole. And I cannot respect a guy who dresses like that. I just can't.

well I think if Naruto got all nine tails on he would be stronger then Itachi, but he would probally kill Naruto before he could get close to reaching there -.-". And for the strongest i'd guess the Akatsuki leader or Gai with all 8 gates open.
