Here's a site that has info and opening for most of these shows:

    http://www.retrojunk.com/

For all you awesome people, it's just Phoenix. The numbers are just the amount of times people misspell it.

Man, so many shows, so many memories. I don't even want to make a list just in case I leave any out. But I remember most of the stuff that's been listed here.

EDIT: Apparently they changed it to Hero Turtles because there was concern over kids actually knowing what a ninja was. I guess you could say that's all changed today though.

Dreamstone! That show rocked far too hard to be legal.

Was Mighty Max that show about the kid with this red cap that used to open portals to other places and stuff, like the center of the world? if so that was one of my favorite cartoons, I had far too many "Poly Pocket" type toys of that.
Holy shit DOUBLE THANKS. Hilarious it is, I've also recently wondered what this show was called. As my fellow swede el_boss already said, it brings you back. A nice show it was.

This is a good thread. I'll whip up a better post later with some pics. Gotta love cartoons

Here's one that was great, but still a little confusing

    Dennis the Menace.

The live action movie adaptation of the cartoon was surprisingly awesome too. It had a lot of mature sub-plots and character development, and very grounded in a realistic setting. And of course, the hilarious pwning of the thief that ensued at the end of the movie was just comedy diamond -- way beyond comedy gold.

Oh yeah, Darkwing Duck has got to be one of my all time favorites, you've got great taste Aeon. Other favorites include The Smurfs, The Muppet Babies, Garfield and Friends, Aladin (hell, the disney afternoon almost in its entirety), My Little Pony (did I studder?!), Glow Worms, Transformers- The next generation (the one before that too, pre-Optimus Prime death), Heathcliff, Stunt Dogs, James Bond Jr., and a bunch of other stuff not coming to mind. I also liked most of the things mentioned by other people too.

Edit: Oh, and Eek the Cat. That show and its shorts "Terrible Thunder Lizards"...just awesomely funny stuff.

Lol, I had entirely forgot about Eek the Cat, when I was young I thought it was hilarious. And I loved Animaniacs too (Mindy and Buttons was my favorite) Lets see, I also used to watch some of the other stuff mentioned here too, like I remember Darkwing Duck was on TV almost continuously, seemed like whenever I turned it on it was either that or Duck Tales.

Was there a Godzilla cartoon? I seem to remember this from quite long ago. The main characters lived on a ship and could somehow summon Godzilla to fight for them whenever they were threatened by giant monsters...

And for something a little more recent, The Tick was pretty damn funny. I don't watch much TV these days because it's so much easier to just keep stuff on my hard drive to watch whenever you have the time for it instead of trying to make sure you turn on the television at precisely 8:00 or whatever. And no commercials.

Yep there was a Godzilla cartoon... I was one of the winnders of the super chunk competition on Cartoon Network when they asked about Godzilla

Yea I stopped watching TV cartoons pretty much 4 years ago... too much hassle.
