"Blocking p2p in polish university is like trying to move the sea with one glass"
they'll always find way around this blockade.

    and my bitch now:
I have study damned biology for test(my second most hated subject, first one is German), and my nazi-teache... i mean my German teacher is going to enforce more nazi...i mean strict rules(i already have test each day!) and she thinks that we don't have any more subjects other than German to learn...

Now I'm gonna either screw it and stop caring about it and just get grades to pass, or forget about bicycle and games and P&P RPGs and learn... yeah choice is obvious - i fu***ng hate German...

I thought German was the official language of Poland...

    I kid, I kid.

I've had Literature teachers who worked that way, and Chemistry teachers...and Chemistry professors...and physics professors...and Statics/Dynamics Professors...and Thermodynamics Professors...and Fluid Dynamics Professors, and Heat Transfer Professors who worked that way too. It's not going to get any better the higher up the education ladder you go. So ultimately, you end up doing what you can. Take good notes in class, review them before the exams, and just take it easy. Overstudying isn't going to help, you'll just burn yourself out.

I noticed forgetting about guitar isn't an option.

My study habits have been really bad ever since I got into uni, so I shouldn't be advising you on that.

I found opendns though, and it looked promising and my supervisor thought so too. So i set it to block adware and phishing sites, and then youtube, myspace and facebook.

I get to work today though and my supervisor blocked almost every category of websites, this one included which gets blocked as P2P / File Sharing. My first trip to my now blocked ebay garnished a verbal WTF?!

I feel like the office nazi now.
    You sir are a nazi.

I have nothing against the office security, but the local dude is an asshole as I bitched before.

They ordered him to buy a tool to block sites (because they are lazy to do so themselves) and their current proxy, BlueCoat, ends falling about 2 to 3 times a day. Some of us guess its a test version.

Anyway... he was ordered to buy it to block sport pages, specially football (soccer). Yet all the sport pages are open while all the videogame sites are blocked. Its idiotic actually for there are very few gamers here versus the number of sport fanatics.

I had bitched about this before. Just felt to do so again after your post.

I just returned from Cancun the day before the swine flu hysteria went mainstream. Funny thing is, I had the flu a couple days before I went to Mexico. Maybe I'm the root of all evil after all?

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I coughed a lot today in my first class and wondered how many people I was making uneasy.

I'll believe the hysteria when pigs fly.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

    Deadline Dangers:

    • Picked up the scholarship form this Monday
    • Discovered submission date for mentioned scholarship form was on May 1 yesterday
    • Paid the post office $20 for "priority" delivery, endured my father's nagging about procrastination, survived my worries about the application not being there on May 1
    • Aforementioned application arrived at destination
    • Called aforementioned destination to assure its presence there
    • Learned that the application had to be stamped and dated before May 1 and could still be processed after May 1 (not necessarily due on May 1)

This lady comes up to me and asks "excuse me, where is the restroom?" I pointed towards the restroom area and she went. Five minutes later, she comes back and tells me it's not there. I personally lead her to the restroom doors and pointed at the sign that said "restroom area". I didn't even say anything the whole time and she went "my, you are pretty rude, ma'm!" I replied "I'm a boy" and she rushed into the restroom without my consent. I think she didn't want to look stupid or something, but whatever.

Because she can only go if you allow her to?

She looked like she was waiting for me to say something like "go ahead" or "you may use it". I don't get these kind of people, though. They just seem uneasy.

I can't tell whether some women are pregnant or need to go on diet sometimes, back when I took public transport. Might end up with a rude stare for wanting to give up my seat.

As for the gender issue, how about the adam's apple?

Hmm, I'll give that a go sometime. Doesn't sound as "fun" though

I don't have one, so that's thrown out of the question.

In high school, when my hair was longer, I was hit on by 2 guys.

In my defense it was dark and we were outside and they realized their mistake in about 10 seconds. That doesn't take away the sting, though .
