dled episode from some chinese fansubber few days ago, but it was rm file, thank god wf released their version, dling right now, so wut exactly is mp4 anyway!? can someone explain? i never seen/heard mp4 before

Well, it's a container format. In that sense one might say it doesn't automatically grant any superior quality, as it could still be composed of old fashioned video and audio, because the standard allows use of a variety of formats, some of them historical. However, it's natural to assume that whoever opts to use mp4, will rather use new formats than old for picture and audio, like H.264 and AAC (I'm sure these sound familiar). Now, that being said, it's evident that any mkv could give the same quality, as they can also contain those formats. The difference here is mainly the fact that MP4 is an ISO standard, whereas things like mkvs are inventions put together by lone pioneers.

A great start to a new season! Like any other School Rumble episode, I loved this one. More wackiness caused by the confusion between Harima and Yakumo
Next episode looks kickass, can't wait for it.

Me, I like the OP more than the 1st season's, mainly because this one was more.... lively. Song has a really good beat to it also



Is it just me or is that Lala on the far right with a different hair style? Also good to see that new characters are joining the cast.

Couldn't stop laughing during the episode..the misunderstandings are piling up and now basically the whole school knows about 'it'.
The series just picks up where they left without any problems at all. Besides the intro and ending it just felt like I was back home after a vacation. I can only hope that we'll be lucky enough to have releases on a regular basis(but if we don't, we don't..), because it tastes like MORE!
Next ep will show Neo-Harima.. can't wait for that

These two should get together. But Harima and the blonde chick makes for funny situations. Harima is probably the funniest anime character ever. I hope the confusion continues. I think this is the first show where I don't even notice that I'm reading subtitles anymore. It's like the situations speak for themselves. Yeah, good quality video file too.

just watched episode 2, gotta say.........school rumble is awesom!!!!..., damn i stayed up the whole nite waiting for the release, and it was worthy, the last scene is so hilarious!!!!!

the thing i really really truely appreciate about school rumble is that, they don't hold back on making fun of characters, Harima is the perfect example, and they did it on someone else this time, and it AWESOM! WAAHAHHA
btw, ichijo finally appeared, (thank god!), and they gave a lot chances to the new VA. personally i think her voice is great, and i like ichijo much more after episode 2

i got a question, don't know if it just me, but when i watch the op(the first few seconds with manga images), somehow the images just gives an eye direction towards Eri, well i am a fan of Eri, so it might just be my nature to focus on her..
and the rest of the op, where it animated, Eri didn't appear until the last image where everyone appears together. (holy crap am i addicated to her!?!?y did i even bother to check this!!)

I haven't read anything on Your-Mom releases for School Rumble, but from what I have heard from their other releases is that they are pretty bad, they make shit up in their translations making them like a parody... I haven't watched it myself, so I can't really tell...

Anyways, just watched the first episode... Awesome as always. Liked the Harima and Yakumo pairing, I hope they really get together in the future. Next episode should be great, looks like the school is going to war Battle Royale style.

Ep 2 was amazing. All the melodramatic scenes were executed beautifully.

To others that have seen WannabeFansub's release, is the song halfway through done by the W-F staff? There was a message prior to the song but I'm not totally sure if that's just for editing or what not. The song was English so my guess is that some girl on the W-F staff sang it.

er..............how did you come up with that idea? lolz of course not, that the 2 intern songs in the anime.
"Crossing Over" and "Feel I Like a girl", says the singer is "ichijo", but that her name in anime, so i guess they r sang by MAKO?
xd i wonder when those 2 songs will be avaliable for download

er is there anyway to delete msg? i think i should dl wf version first before i say anything.....apologize to BOC if WF did put another song in their version>.<

Well it doesn't help that you didn't watch the W-F version. Were the songs you watchd English? And by the way, there was only one song in the W-F version.

After checking out both versions, nothing was changed by WF. In the WF version, the note just said that the lyrics for the song were supplied by Ohmer and red8888.

Also, does anyone know how long this series will be? I read someone saying it'd be 13 episodes, but they aren't really a source to be trusted.

AniDB doesn't have a length for the series but lists 13 airing dates so far, so 13 episodes is definitely a possibility. I hope it's 26 though.

Anidb has been wrong countless times, just as every other anime database site... Until there is some sort of announcement which usually happens near the end of the series, it's hard to tell.

Another awesome episode! I like how they managed to get another major action scene into this crazy series But damn, that last scene with the butler dressed as Eri was... disturbing.
