Episode 12 was pretty good, Akagi kicking ass as always, awesome way to end a match.

    Here's episode 13:

Didn't care much for the episode since it was merely an explanation episode for the most part, but the final scenes are awesome with Akagi staring at Urabe and the foreshadowing of a match Akagi will participate in one year which seems like it'll be awesome.

I liked this episode, it walked you through Akagi's process of decimating his opponent.
It was also a nice episode to finish up this match, did a nice job of it, and I think it's main purpose was to lead onto the next episode, and show how disatisfied Akagi was with the match he just had.
It shows how Urabe had lost from the get go, and Akagi was nearly in a state of boredom with the match.
Again, It sounds as if the next match should be something to anticipate.

it was kinda nice to finally reveal akagi's "secrets" or just superhuman thought processing... but it was a bit explainatory, kinda was like uhhhh i wish i knew more about mahjong so i could understand/appreciate the show more. what exactly happened to urabe's hands? or was it like they cut his wrists and the blood was then flowing on his hands?

I assume something along the lines of breaking all his fingers...

They wouldn't slit his wrists - since they want him to pay back the 32M (Think that was amount).

Shame, that episode really just did build up the next episode to come.
Although, it does look like the next match will be interesting - finally a decent opponent for Akagi.

Indeed, this episode was a tease, but this opponent seems great. I can't wait for this match to start, though I'm still waiting for Akagi to say, "Don't make me laugh, you're a fucking coward, I want you to bet your blood also." This arc is going to be awesome.

Finally, time for the match to start:

    Nice episode.
I especially liked the line where Washizu said,
'...the devil who favours the composed and sonorous ...'

Since this whole game to this point Akagi has been composed while Washizu has been laughing/grinning and prattling on in general...

My favorite part was when Washizu went "Richi! gegeggege" and then Akagi went "No go" while Washizu shit his pants.

    Another excellent 'deathmatch' episode.
Washizu is one of the better opponents Akagi has played (not only in skill, but enjoyable to watch play).

Indeed, Washizu is awesome. Got to love the smirk he always has on his face.

    Anyways, 19:

    God dammit!
Excellent episode - as per usual (and expected at this point), it really did leave things up in the air as to what will happen next, hopefully Triad release their next episode promptly!
