I agree with you there Deblas. I somehow imagined it to be different. It’s too child like. That’s my first impression. We will see how his voice and character develops.

All the three characters are a good addition to the CP9. I am looking forward to their fights and comedic situations.

Luffy’s new tricks? I am very excited about that. Although at this moment in time it looks impossible for Luffy to beat the invincible Luchi but we all know that Luffy is a tough cookie. He always pulls through especially when his nakama are in danger.

Anxiously waiting for Luffy’s rampage in Enies Lobby.

So it seems like Franky's fighting fukoru, sanji fights califa, if you pause it right you see luffy performing that attack that blasts out of his palms on blueno, and zoro's fighting kaku. Doesn't that leave lucchi, and 2 of the dudes we saw this episode.

It looks like Luffy's training with King Kai has paid off as he has mastered the Kaiô-ken technique. Super Saiyan Luffy must not be far off.

Just finished watching it. Was a good enough episode, but man, those recaps are getting longer and longer. The whole episode ended up feeling 10 mintues long.

Giants though huh? Wonder if Paulie and Franky Bros. #1 are gonna be able to take them, or if the SHs are gonna have to show up for that.

Sheesh the recap lasted past the 6min mark and we still had the opening to take awaytime, I guess skipping weeks isn't enough to buy the manga time anymore. I hope this won't be a weekly thing. Anyways the ep was still good, I thought Zoro was ready to break into the island himself with the frog when they were on top of the train.

Yeah, the opening was a little long winded, but with the wait between episodes and with all the other anime I am watching it is nice to have a little recap. As for the episode itself, I am really enjoying OP right now.
I feel as though the animation is better and the action was stepped up in pace. I especially like Luffy's new style and confidence (the Robot move was funny), but it was this move that really made me sit up:

I just thought to myself wow that was awesome and had to rewind it to get the full effect (and to notice that he is holding his hat the whole time). The Strawhats are gonna certainly give CP9 a run for their money...We have seen some of Zoro and Sanji's new stuff, now Luffy is on fire...Copper, Soge, Nami next?!
Questions: I thought the Rocketman didn't have breaks? Did Yokuzuma stop it? Are the others just waiting out front until the diversion is complete and then drive the train thru the gates?
I hope that Franky Family can get past the giants w/o the help of Zoro and company. It would be a testament to Franky's faith in his nakama and to Paulie's skills. Maybe they'll outsmart the giants somehow...can't wait!!! Is there another episode next week or are we waiting?
