    Widescreen Naruto???

I'm looking for the widescreen version of Naruto anime...anyone knows?
Not the movie OVA...I want the series.
I have a feeling that Naruto is actually aired in Japan in Widescreen mode.
But all fansubs made em to 4:3.
    Is this true?

    Widescreen Naruto???

Widescreen means more stuff to draw per frame. Perhaps that's what keeps many shows from adopting the modern format.

    Widescreen Naruto???

The only TV show that I've ever seen that was in Widescreen to start with was Babylon 5, and that was made in England.

    Widescreen Naruto???

There certainly are widescreen anime shows around. That's not the question.

However, yapchagi is suggesting Naruto is originally widescreen and subbers would be cropping it before the net release. Well, I'm sure everybody can form their own opinions of that...

no naruto is not widescreen but you can make it wide screen. Get VirtualDub and resize the video file.

    Widescreen Naruto???

Of course then your either stretching the picture out of proportion or your cutting off the top and bottom of the image. Which defeats the purpose of widescreen.
