I haven't played it, but I read those same symbols appeared on Metal Gear Acid, and on the same color.
Seriously... speculating a game is on the xbox based on the color. I LOLed.

the green power icon is extensively used for 360, but the other icons do relate to metal gear acid. Oh and MGS5 is already in concepting phase, Hideo isn't part of it (yet).
MGS on Xbox 360 would suck. It would waste all of Kojima Productions' research and development on Cell. One would think that the success of MGS4 would give them every incentive to optimize their PS3 engine and place themselves in an even better position than Capcom for the future, since parallel programming will be the only way to advance and fulfill Kojima's visions.
Wii Sports takes over Mario Smash Bros as best selling game ever.

Well, I didn't see that coming. I always thought the Wii hype was overrated. Guess I was the one underestimating.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Though...it helps when you take things in context.
Both Wii Sports and Super Mario Brothers are bundled with the respective consoles (Wii and NES). The Wii is targetted at a much larger market than the children (future gamers) and gamers of the later half of the 80s. Not to mention the much larger population today that can afford a console. The NES would cost $400 (USD) in today's currency. Nintendo went after the casual market, had the cheapest console for two years, and they hit the jackpot.
This only means that more Wiis have been purchased than NESs.
Imagine this if PS2s were bundled with a game.
Something I like about those supposed numbers is that out of the 7.5 million Wii sold on Japan barely 3million own Wii Sports.
What would have happened if it wasn't bundled in the rest of the planet?
No Nvidia chips in the next generation of consoles due out in 2012:

Where the dreamer and his dream?”
Awesome, no backward compatibility in the ps4 either! Just what I wanted.
Just to throw it out there, yesterday evening (Tuesday 17th, 22.00 PM West European time) Hideo was playing MGO on European servers. A friend o' mine lost once and defeated him twice. Hideo was playing as Snake.

XBox 720: Details of the Next Generation Console Revealed
Despite reports to the contrary released only weeks ago, details of the XBox 720, the next generation console from Microsoft, have now been revealed. Said to include a built in Kinect, Blu-Ray player and two GPUs, the console has been confirmed for release around Christmas 2013. Unfortunately, it seems it will also require always-on connection to the internet as protection against piracy.

Always on? That's the lamest excuse ever.
MS might as well do away with the console and just sell PCs.
Looks like Nintendo will win the next gen again.
Sounds incredibly fake/april foolish.
(hint, no other site has reported any such thing).
I agree, but wouldn't be totally surprised if some of these were true.
On the one hand (or, this article was written by retards for adclicks):
- MS would be stupid to call it the 720. The only reason the xbox360 is "360" is because people are dumb, and gee, a PS3 sure does sound like it is superior to an xbox2, don't it? An Xbox360 sounds like it must be as good. MS can't skip to the 'xbox4,' but that doesn't mean they're going to take the next iteration on the XGames Naming Scheme.
- Bluray? Maybe. But if they were smarter they'd dust off hardware manufacturing lines for HD-DVDs. Can't burn pirated games with those, can you?
- Always-on? No console manufacturer is that stupid. Yes, the likelihood of users having a connection is very high. Yes, the makers of these consoles want them used as media centers, to sell content. But Steam doesn't have to work that way, and it is the golden child of digital distribution. If anything, games will require a connection to authorize them the first time they are launched (or more likely, installed).
On the other (or, but it makes some good guesses):
- Kinect is going to come with it. MS has invested too much into it, and now that it's available on the PC as well, they're going for it. If they can get it to work well enough, we might finally see a third input device on computers. It's not like MS owns the hardware patents either...just the software that makes it actually function reasonably.
- Bluray makes sense. MS has long been calling the Xbox platform a media hub, and they succeeded at it better than Sony did because current usage stats show that the xbox360 is more used for netflix, zune, espn and the like than it is for games. If they put in bluray, you have a single convergent device that puts it right in competition with cable providers and their DVR cable boxes.
- Games have already been shifting to the same direction PC games went. License Keys. They're just called "Online Passes." License Keys all but killed the PC used games market, and publishers definitely want more income that Gamestop has long been abusing customers for.
(edit: Continued from this post.)
There was a 250GB Sports Champion Move Bundle available just a few days ago for $230 on eBay. The listing expired though.

Thanks for the head's up, dude. I'm actually eying a 500GB God of War Bundle for $269 at Best Buy.
If you're not looking to play the game straight away (and planned on getting a PS4), you can play the game via Sony'swhateveritscalled-streamingGaikai service right?
edit: hmm, seems its details are pretty unclear at the moment. Might as well get a PS3 when it's cheap then.. that sounds like the smarter idea (provided you have the cash).

Thanks for the info but I'm not going to buy a PS4 when it comes out because I don't care to always have the latest thing and I'm too damned cheap, LOL. I've been deliberately keeping myself behind the curve when it comes to gaming so I can pick up games used for less than 1/3 of their new price; 2 years ago I picked up a refurbished Xbox 360 when I worked at Futureshop for $200 with a 3 year in-house warranty. When I was younger I used to always be on the up and up with the latest in gaming but I got tired of keeping up and dropping all that money.
I'm just like that, I hate paying full price for games and will wait two or three months for a game to drop to $35-40 on sale before buying it. I feel bad when someone buys me a video game as a gift and I know they paid full price for it. I won't buy used hardware but with that warranty and a company that won't go out of business in a few months, it might be worth the risk.
Does anyone know the starting price point for Xbox1/PS4 games?
