I found it odd that Urd says "I love you" in every major language except ENGLISH. Yet she uses a seldom used language like Vietnamese. Portuguese is used more than that. Also, there was a explanation error. There is no such language called "Chinese." There's Mandarin, Cantonese, and lots of other dialects spoken in China. I don't know any, so I have no idea if she was speaking Mandarin or Cantonese. It's like calling Tagalog "Filipino" or Punjabi "Indian."

Well considering it's so hard for K1 and Bell just to have their first kiss, seeing this in a scene that is not related to humor or not overdeformed (well K1 is, but for a totally different subject)is strange in a way.

Thanks for clearing that up. I guess most "westerners" don't know there's multiple spoken languages in China, but there are some, like me, who do. I never assume Mandarin. Especially since most of their action movies (non-historical/fantasy) are from Hong Kong and are in Cantonese. Anyone who's ever watched a Chinese DVD should know because there's always the option of Cantonese or Mandarin dubbing. And most Chinese shows are subbed with Chinese characters because of all the dialects. Those damn complicated Chinese...

I want to DL the entire batch, cuz I dont hav any of those episodes. I'm using Azureus, and It just says queued. It shows 53 seeds and 152 peers, but its not downloading.

Ooookay.....It just started downloadin a couple hours ago. I hae no idea why. I left it up all day yesterday and all of today, and NOW it starts? I dont understand torrents >_<

lol, that explains it all. I was kinda confused when you said that you had it "queued", but now that you posted again, it all fits.

You had other torrents downloading, didn't you? Of course you did.

You had a setting that limits how many active torrents are downloading and/or seeding. Any other torrents that you want to download or seed will be queued. queued torrents will move up in the line as older torrents finish their download. That's why your AMG torrent starts so much later. But yeah, that explains the queuing. As for why episode 4's link doesn't work, I have no idea. Have you already got 1-3? If so, you can select to only get 4-22. Saves you downloading it again. But from what I see, it's already started. Can't change it now, so just do with it.

It's always a good idea to go to your torrent client's homepage and farmiliarise yourself with the settings and tweaks. Lets you customise it to work better with your system/bandwidth.

One more thing, bandwidth tests don't always give a good indication of your DL/UL speed (from my experience anyway). Unless you have a really REALLY outdated computer (like, say pentium 2 @ 400MHz, less than 256MB ram), then your downloading + uploading speed is usually limited by your connection speed. You can check this by loging into your router viewing it's "status" or "connection status" page (or equivalent) to see what you're physically connected at. ISPs will say you can get UP to 24mbps or what ever. That tells you your theoretical limit, nothing more.

It was certainly very much Ah! My Goddess still. At least Keiichi managed to say aloud he loves Belldandy, even if it took the whole episode to gather his courage. Urd was as hot as always, as well.

Kikuko Inoue got a break from voicing all the milfs and other mature women...

Perhaps it was because it's been a long while since I last heard the AMG crew in their roles. I had to look up the VAs to confirm that Belldandy hadn't in fact changed VAs. She sounded much more mature than the last time I remembered.

Skuld and Peorth were the only two who didn't sound slightly different.

GG took quite some liberty here, but I've grown accustomed to not giving a shit about it now.

The robe does not do her justice.

Overall the character designs were fatter than previous renditions as well. I prefer the slimmer versions more, though Peorth was again pretty spot on in this department too. Skuld's hard to tell since she's underaged anyway.

This was very welcome I should clarify, despite my predominantly nitpicking comments.

Thanks, got it last night, just finished watching it

I also had concerns about art and voice acting.
Urd was totally off, as was Keiichi. It clearly lacked implication, acting. There was no spice, no life, it's as if the Voice Actors were just reading their script, very annoying. Especially since I like Urd a lot, as she's playful and mischievous. Having her with almost no tone variations, irony in her voice, was very unpleasant. Same goes for Hild.

At least, we get another milestone in their story, it just that it's a little below the quality I was expecting, but maybe I'm becoming too demanding.

I'll watch the second ep gladly too, after all, there's much more to that show than what it actually is that actracts me to it.
