They've been hinting at a past between Sakura and Rin for a while now. Anyways this ep was amazing, the fight between Saber and Assassin was what I thought the fights in Bleach would be like. The thing that Caster said at the end led me to believe that they both impaled each othersince she said that she only needed one sacrifice not the both of them. And if Kuzuki is such a killer I wonder why he saved Caster.

I'm glad to see kuzuki get a bit more backstory beyond "I like killing!" It makes things a bit less predictable. We really don't know anything about him, except for Caster's flashback and what he's said... but we know he's pretty hardcore, regardless.
Sakura's BSDM outfit is definitely ... just .... wow. That's on the borderline between hot, hilarious, and insane. Especially when the straps started flexing ... for whatever reason.
As for the rather jumpy pacing of the last couple episodes, I'm reminded a lot of Samurai Deeper Kyo. That show was great, for the first 15 or so episodes... perfectly paced for like a 39-episode series. Unfortunately, it was 26, and so the last 10 eps or so were too rushed, things happened with no explanation, and what would have been a good story basically harakiri'd all over the place. I'm hoping that this has enough time not to do that... but you can't really tell until it's over, so we'll see.
Er ya know now that you mention it I was kinda like “eh?” when I saw Sakura in her sacrifice outfit I mean wtf is that how complicated would it even be to put some one in some shit like that and I mean as sexy as it was all I could think is why is she so cute I mean she looks adorable =/

This was a really intense episode. Wow, simply amazing. Dispite things being rushed, its really looking great. Assassin, what a badass, an honorable one at that too. This fight between Saber and Assassin is going to be interesting, with the rule breaker being used on her and all. It doesn't look like Emyira or Rin noticed.
Shirou, taking on a killer, can't wait to see how that turn out. I never thought that there would be a back story between Rin and Sakura, very interesting twist.
That bitchass sourceress, what a coward, but then again she is using the tools that are advailable to her, its just cruel how she plays friends against one another. Someone has to be the bad guy that everyone hate, why not have an evil bitch play the part. Is it me or is she in love with her master. I really want to know what her wish is.

Shirou could also materialize rule breaker and use it on Caster (or Assassin, but I guess that'll just be a fight between Saber and Assassin with no disturbances)... That should be an option since he could materialize Excalibur.
During the first fight between Saber and Assassin I thought it was Archer that was hidden in the tree's spying on Saber's sword since he wasn't seen for a couple eps and I thought Rin had other motives. But now (mainly due to Archers death) I think the person in the tree's was Lancer. The way Caster waited for Berserker to die before she made her move he could be waiting to the end.Where the hell is Lancer? Who is this cowardly master of his? @Kraco, it is possible, but like i said Shirou or Rin doesn't seem to know that the rule breaker was used on Saber, or what it is for that matter. Also he didn't materialized Excalibur, that was just a copy. Beserker explained that and so did Rin. It was not perfect. The hilt was missing or something like that.

@Kensee - I have been doing excatly what u mentioned, the AonE releases have a markedly better visual quality, which is odd since they tend to be smaller than their Eclipse counterparts. I don't know about the translations and the explanations of things however ,since I haven't actually watched most of the AonE's just dl'd them for archiving.
About Sabers sword in ep 18, is she still using the Caliburn that Shiro made for her? The sword looked a little different in several shots, the hilt guard looked much wider than the one from ep 16. Do you'all think this was a flaw in the animation or is there some other sword that we didn't see he aquire. I took some screenshots of the swords and they do indeed look different. The 18 sword is wider and appears to be longer as well as being less detailed than the one from 16. It's hard to tell if the 18 sword is just a lazy rendering of the 16 sword or a new sword we've haven't seen. The invisible one made visible perhaps. Consequently, the sword from 18 matched the one seen in the OP where Saber is sitting on a throne with her sword in front of her.
That doesn't matter, though. It was perfectly functional, after all.
Well, I guess there are some limits to Shirou's power, but so far it has been quite an impressive skill.
Don't spoil from the game. I copied your post, if you think this was removed inapropiately let me know and I'll add it back. Even if the game and the anime have been following a different storyline, this theory from the game is probably true in the anime and you just spoiled it for me.

err, caliburn is another name for excalibur. Wikipedia's got a good explanation of how the names evolved, among other things about the sword.
I think Saber's Noble Phantasm was so mana-intensive for her because she not only had to execute a huge attack, but she also had to summon the sword to do it. I suspect that if she did it with Shiro's materialized excalibur, she'd be able to pull it off a bit quicker and with a bit less mana. Though I could be wrong, and it'd still have to be prohibitively expensive. There's none of this "two swords" bullshit though... the noble phantasm was just a particular way of using Excalibur. For bleach-watchers in the crowd, consider it the same way as you'd consider Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho.
Funny that you mentioned incompleteness, though. The reason her sword was invisible to begin with wasn't that she was hiding it. It was that the summoning process itself was incomplete. Saber couldn't bring excalibur into being with her because her summoning was poorly executed, due to having a completely untrained master -- the same reason she couldn't dematerialize, had trouble healing and generally hasn't been having a very good time this war. She seemed comfortable with the fact that her sword was invisible, but a bit surprised by it -- although she played it up to psych out Lancer quite effectively.
As for what's missing, it's the scabbard, not the hilt (remember: scabbard = sheath, hilt = handle). The scabbard caused injuries not to bleed, or people not to die from loss of blood, or something to that effect. But since I don't think servants really have the same sort of problems that sword-fighting humans would (ie: blood loss isn't going to kill Saber regardless), I don't think it'd do much good. In a fight against Assassin, I'd be more worried about her losing her head. And if Lancer still happens to be around with Gae Bolg, he's going to be aiming more for impaling her outright... so I dunno how useful not bleeding would be in a situation where you don't have a complete set of functioning internal organs to work with... especially given that Shiro's not much of a healer, and Rin seems to be somewhat dying of stabbing-related causes. But maybe Ilya will show up and patch everyone up and save the day... you never know.

I thought it was Rider because when Saber was unleashing her power, Rider retreated, and at the begining she was also sneaking around in the forest. Just that she was just waiting for Saber to show up so she can ambush Caster.
After watching the episode again. It can be seen that it was Lancer hiding observing the battle. I was wrong, you were right. But it makes sense that he would be sneaking around looking for a weakness.

@lucifus, I am wondering too? His master seems to be the most cautious one of them all. It seems like he is wait for this to be played out, and is using it to gather as much information about the other servants and masters as he possiblely can, or mabye he is waiting for the perfect moment to ambush them. These are two of the strongest servants. If they go head to head, injuries are assured. That would be the best time to attack, wouldn't it? Killing two birds with one stone. Anyways we will just have to watch and see.

I'm just going to take a moment to address this... What hints? The only real interaction between rin and Sakura I've seen has been the fact that Sakura was upset at another woman staying with Shiro. To me Sakura obviously likes Shiro its based on a H-game of course and this is why Shiro has the Harem he's putting together but I just see no forshadowing at all to they had some connection as kids.
Also as far as swords that Shiro makes go I think its safe to say they only exist as long as he wills them too. Or else he's leaving weapons all over the place and wasting mana summoning them over and over. So I'll assume Sabers suddenly visable sword is just due to her having more mana from Shiro sharing his circuit with her.
