Sorry, but you have to get your facts straight... Sasaki Kojiro was a real person, I posted some info about him a couple of pages back when he appeared.
Also, Hercules/Heracles was revealed when he first appeared.

The episode Berserker was revealed IIya said that he was the strongest warrior Hercules. And I dunno why I thought there was 13masters. But who is Caster? I don't remember seeing a servent by that name.
Argh Bud beat it for me.

Caster was the mage type Servant that Rider fought in the same eps that Assassin and Saber were fighting. Caster summoned up a few skeletons that Rider dispatched quite easily before having to retreat after not being able to hit Caster herself.
I don't remember whether or not she's been explictly mentioned as Caster though.
I thought she was the master for Assassin. I thought the attacks she was using were just basic magic attacks like Rin used in the school. So I guess this means that Shirou and Rin aren't the only masters working togather. Now I wonder who the person in the trees was that was spying on Saber.

Yep, that was why I thought also... I remember the chick saying, "Isn't your master clever, making you attack me while my servant is busy" or something along those lines.
So I think that person you called Caster is a master, not a servant.
I'm completely confident that Caster is who I said she is. However, my response to your comments is founded on the things that Shirou's friend said about the temple where he lives. That there was a new visitor, and she was being treated with an incredible amount of hospitality. It seemed that he disapproved of the extravagant way she was being treated, as if she was a temptress. This is the key to my theory.
I believe that Caster has beguiled whoever is Assassin's master on the orders or her own master, and thus, Caster is now controlling Assassin through his own master, who is probably as ignorant as Shirou in the ways of being a magician. In effect, whoever Caster's master is now has control of two servants.
i did get my facts straight, i know he was real, but it is "his" fight with musashi, might not have been his, heck some sceptics even think musashi murdered kojirou, AND that fight isnt mentioned in musashi's book, when i said "didnt exist" i was actually only talking about that "famous" fightOriginally Posted by Budweineken
and about berserker, ok must have not heard that or something
In the ep. Berserker appeared, [edit]little evil eyed happy girl [edit]said that he was the greatest hero in greek mythology.
and the only person I know of like that is Hercales, Hercules in roman mythology.
Edit: my mistake

That seemed to me like you were talking about the person not the fight like you now are claiming...Originally Posted by darkshadow
But whatever, there's a lot of speculation to what really happened in the supposed fight with Musashi, no one can really know what really went on, the link I had provided for the wikipedea explains some of the possible scenarios to what really happened... There are all sorts of different accounts.

I liked this episode, and I'm pretty sure Assasin was that witchs servant. Llya rulez. Sabers kool.........If I had her, I'd only have one command mark left.......B)

There was a barrier around the temple and only there was one way in, which was guarded by the Assassin. Rider’s master Shinji told Shiro about the witch and he knew that Shiro being kind hearted would go to stop that witch. This would provide him with the opportunity to kill the master. Killing master would be easier than killing his servant (Assassin). So Rider was waiting for that opening. Although Assassin’s master shown sitting on the seat in the temple and the character fighting outside with Rider looked different.
She is not a master, she is Caster.
-Caster says "Your master is very impressive. Using Saber as a decoy to sneak into my area of control." [Eclipse] 9:33. That means that Saber was the one distracting both of the servants while Rider snuck in to attack the area inside the barrier Caster created/controls. Also, the language used, "Your Master" seems to imply that they are on the same level, both serving a master. Caster comparing her master to Riders.
-Caster's class is radically different from the servants we've seen so far. Berserker, Lancer, Archer, Saber, and Assassin all use physical means to destroy their enemies. Rider is fairly different in that she uses sneak attacks and the normally invisible spikes and chains. Caster's title implies that she would be using magic or some other spells, which is exactly what she used to repel Rider. Summons and spells.
-Finally, I'll be really cheap if those do not convince you. Check the credits. 22:39 on Eclipse's version. 田中敦子 as キャスター "Atsuko Tanaka as Caster." She also voices Motoko Kusanagi from GitS:SAC. You can tell from her voice they are the same person.

You may be right. I just thought of it now. Why would a master be fighting a servant on his own? Only Shiro is stupid enough to do that.
but isn't that the special quality we love about Shirou?
The only master to go up against Heracles b/c he doesn't want his girl servant to get hurt....
R.I.P Captain America.

I got a question: where does the class of Rider come from? The others are pretty much seen in a lot of games, but I don't recall the Rider class. Is there some historic significance with it or something?
caster = magic
berserker = mindless pummeling
saber = close combat expert
archer = ranger type class ( sword/bow )
lancer = long range close combateer, ( really hard to fight in real life )
rider = you'll see soon enough, but i think its quite obvious
assassin = swift killer
Saber, Lancer and Archer are known as the three Knight Classes.Originally Posted by kooshi
