Great Episode, Archer kicked major ass, I wish he hadn't had to die. Though it shouldbe noted that he wasn't much on an Archer, most of his attacks were sword based, and though he proved to be extremly talanted with them, they don't fit his class name. A spoiler warning, DO NOT lok up the words Archer spoke in English, unless you want to be well and truly spoiled down to your ankles. Obviously I did, thinking I was just following the clues and it wouldn't matter, as Rider's ID as given by Ryllharu didn't really seem to affect the story that much, big no no in this case.
You only want to know if you don't like surprises of any kind, or if you don't care what happens only how it happens. Ryllharu's clues seem painfully clear now, as they should for any good twist when you look back after taking it. However, as darkshadow said, I don't see Archer's identity coming out in the current storyline, he never told anyone, so how could anyone find out. Maybe the priest knows, but that's the only way I see the plot allowing any disclosure. What's interesting is that even knowing so much of the plot this show doesn't seem any less amazing, I'm always anticipating the next episode, and if I could understand Japanese i'd definately be all over the game.
Hopefully in the near future there will be a translated version out, there is a new group that recently started translating, and they seem dedicated enough to finish it. That was the greatest anime episode that I have seen in a long time. It's greatness was final episode worthy. I'm a little upset with myself for calling Archer weak, weeks ago. I liked how they showed that while Archer was fighting he was thinking of Rin and Shirou.
Not a spoiler since it was shown but I'm gonna space this out anyway.
Archer can't be dead, on the trailer it showed him and Berserker fighting in a graveyard. Unless that was just shown for the trailer.

Can servants be resummoned after they're defeated? They're spirits to start with.
i would think so but Rin has no more command seals how do you get around that?

well i know this ahead, but if u read wut Ilya said by the end, it is not that Archer's attack did nothing to Berserker,
"that was five times just for 1 servant"
"i never thought he would be defeated as much as 5 times"
and we never saw scene of archer defeated,
but we did saw scenes where Berserker should have died, the point blank shot, 2 slashes by the swords, and the final scene with berserker seriously injuried, that 3 times already, and he might have died twice in UBW.
i don't know exactly how many lives Berserker has, but it defintely more than 5
I'm not talking about Rin, I'm talking about another new master summoning Archer. Rider was defeated but looking at Aeon's sig, it would appear that Rider comes back.
Once a servant is killed, they are out of the war. If a master is killed the servant can remain a servant until they use up all of their mana or find another master and contract themselves with said master to continue in the war.
I think the pics in my sig are either random fan art of Rider without her glasses or fan art of her from the other 2 FSN story lines.
After you said that I went back to past eps and pieced some things togather. Gonna send you a pm to see if my guess is right.-You've seen that pendant before (in some form or another). Just think carefully.

Don't worry lucifus, if it is what I'm thinking the spoiler is, then it really has no bearing on the storyline the anime is following anyway. If you were in the middle of playing the game and found it out before you got there, then I guess I'd be pissed too.
TonTonH8r is probobly right, but now that I know the Archer spoiler story I'm wishing the anime would have gone in that direction, fortunately I don't know what hapens in the storyline that the anime is following, but I now understand some of the angst others have had over the anime not following the storylines they liked more. We can only pray for OVA's or dare I say it Tenchi like series revisitings fleshing out the other possible storylines. [/drooling] This anime is amazingly well done and I have to assume it's popular in Japan, so who knows.
hah @ tontonh8r. I was thinking the exact same earlier today wishin they released ova's following the different story lines of the game I seriously doubt that will happen unfortunately. But after I rewatched ep14 the spoiler actually helps some scenes make sense, to actually clear up some confusion. Also Archer said a few things that didn't actually happen in the storyline the anime is following, which leads me to believe they are just picking and choosing select parts of one of the other story lines to mold into this storyline.

Oh man i know that this is based off an H-game but i still cant beleave that they even tryed to work that part in there i almost fast forwarded the whole thing. and on a side note anybody got a good link for a web site wear you can find info on stuff about old legends like the one about zerker and the 12 labors?
I honestly though they would change up the story to avoid it, but they kept pretty true to the game story line they are following, but they did sort of go about it in a different way.
