    Not the phones!

Today I learned more astronomy related stuff. Like the known details of how the universe is expanding, why exactly the night sky is dark, and that space is filled with this background radiation that gives a lot of information on it's original structure just after the big bang.

Did you know that the earth is filled with background radiation too? Bananas are slighly more radioactive than other types of fruit, incidentally, because potassium is a radioactive element. And to go along with your astronomy-related theme, I learned last week from Wikipedia that most of space is filled with a sparse plasma, and all stars are made of plasma, which makes plasma the most common form of matter in the universe, more than solid, liquid and gas combined!

Wow, I didnt know about how common plasma was. And to add to the astronomical topic, if you combine two black holes then you get a worm hole! and did you know our galaxy is 3,000 light years thick at the point of where our solar system is, but at the nuclear center of the Milky way it is 10,000 light years thick!

Then why are plasma TVs so damn expensive.

Today I learned some more biological mating stuff, as I so often do. A man will produce three times as much sperm when he is away from his woman. I'm not talking about a couple of hours, more like over two days or something like that. This is connected to another fact I brought up earlier. The added amount of sperm is there so it will have a better chance of batteling out the sperm of another man in the case that the woman has been unfaithful.

^ Today I learned that the male body's reproductive system has a defense mechanism to protect its odds in procreation.

Today I learned that I'm required to take an internship this summer. I also learned that I have to plan it, find someone I can intern under, get absolutely no help from my college whatsoever, and I still have to pay money to take the course.

I'd like to learn exactly what it is I'm paying for.

^ Maybe the motivation to get up and do it??? Does sort of seem like a ripoff though.

you are paying for hands on experience; and the opportunity to learn in a work oriented enviroment.... ofcourse it's a rip off at first but it suppose to pays off in the long run. Hey it looks good on your resume.... lol.

peculiar in a lot of ways... particularly their "anti-leech" methodology. They probably think they're pretty clever...

You'd think if their bandwidth is that important to them, that they'd ... you know, resize the gif on their site from 1100x1100 to something that isn't giant and stupid. But whatever .

Oh my God...I didn't until you posted that.

Today I learned not to do strange image searches on Google...or listen to anyone who tells me to.

Edit to below: Agreed. That's really the strangest part.

The picture itself is not as weird as the search words "logitech logo."

  18. #438
I'm getting the standad logo on that search...

  19. #439
click the third logo with the huge resolution and when the page loads click to view full image. That is only if you want to see something rather disgusting.
