Rose wasn't the one that took the shot, at the very end of the ep they show somebody smoking with what I'm guessing was a sniper shell landing. So it look's like the RUC faked Rose's death to brain wash her. Some how I didn't see that coming and Celica was my favorite member also, her voice and attitude were great. I hope she isn't dead.

I just didn't think there was that much to say about the last eps. I'm the thread starter after all. I'm very happily enjoying this series. I was actually on spring break all last week. I watched the last two eps when I got back.

Good to have you back and watching Solty Rei . Integra was pretty awesome this ep I wonder if the thing she had built for her was the power suit she was wearing. I was kinda hoping it was a bomb and that she planned on blowing up the RUC building.

I was kind of suprised that Integra never once considered attacking Ashley's little rocket or whatever it was. In that last burst she could have inflicted a lot of damage to all that sensitive machinery that all of his plans seem to be mysteriously founded around. Instead she foolishly went out for direct revenge on him. I hope Accela will take up that end of the task and put his plans back a while. Not only is she smarter than the others, she actually knew what he was up to most of this time.

So it appears Rose thinks she's just playing along, even though in the end it looks like she's playing into Ashely's hands.

They've also returned to the Solty was a rogue full cyborg made by RUC from eps 1. It seems that J (forgot more than his initials, too busy to take the time to look it up) had quite the hand in building her. The "luggage" also gives me reason for concern. I wonder what it is...

It has EP's 1-10 & 12, Important note, I don't think it has any full seeds, when I got it everyone was idiling at 99% with episode 8 and possibly 9 missing, I can't remember where I got 8 but I found it somewhere along with 9. If there are still no full seeds still PM me when you hit 99.8% and i'll rename the stuff and seed it for a few days so u can get episode 8.

And eps 24 should come out shortly after this. There are also two more eps on dvd, but I only heard about those two days ago.

A decent 'conclusion' eps. I won't spoil for the 3 other people that still watch this series.

I do still want to know, what is the point of Solty's role? Who is she and who made her. There have been no explainations, but it seems like Ashley, Josef, and at least of number of other people know, and the story seems to be imply that we should already know. She had personal information from Lorelei- I mean, Illumina. If they don't give out some information in the next eps, I'm gonna be severely disappointed.

(Lorelei is from Saber Marionette J in case I'm the only who remembers that series.)

They plan to release the first dvd eps (1-7) sometime in the future.

I havent watched 23 yet, was waiting for 24 to be released. I think Solty is one of the first humans from Earth or was either built by them to keep tabs on the planet. That's the only reason I can think of since she seems to be made of the same material that the spaceship is made out of.

Ah, Well Done! Apparantly no one cared much for the ending (No one has said anything for a while), great series imo, I'm glad I picked it up.

I think Solty was,as it was said, just another AI sent to help out, it's just that she was more of a human relations type than the other too. It's interesting that all these AI's were so good they managed to anthropomorphize (take on human qualities, look it up it's a real word!). Unfortunately only Solty was able to get past solipsism (the idea that nothing exists other than yourself and your ideas are the only possible correct actions to be taken). Helen and Eunomia maintained their solipsism to the end, as babies probobly would if they were left to their own devices and were somehow able to survive to adulthood.

It was likely the love Solty recieved from Roy and the rest that made her mature from essentially a baby into an adult in the same way that humans do, through experiance and guidance from parents, friends, and the world. I think the depth of Solty's charachter progression, especially near the end was a great touch to show that a 'person' is the sum of experiances, thoughts, and feelings, processed and reacted to by an appropriate medium, be it man or machine. Man, I haven't thought this much in a while, maybe I should go watch some Azumanga Daioh to calm my burning neurons. Someone please post if those DVD extra eps come out!
