1st episode was alright. It kinda remains me the series Heat Guy J, but instead of a guy android, we got a chick. In all, I'll keep watching it.

I liked episode 1 really... and is this the same group (the anime group not the subbers) that did Speed Grapher? character models look similar and its Gonzo Digimation and the same network...

EDIT: I REALLY liked ep 2... and I DO think it is the same team as Speed Grapher... if it goes that same way, well we are in for an interesting story!

Other than both being produced by Gonzo, SG and Solty Rei don't have too much in common.

The art designer worked on things like Witch Hunter Robin and The Big O, giving it the retro 50's feel (the cars and the buildings).

The CG integration is what reminded me of Bakurestu Tenshi.

It's not the same animation team as SG, just same production company. There's some similar elements, but it resembles the staff's previous work more.

A decent eps. Kinda heartwarming in a way, even if Solty got the short end of the stick.

I just get this feeling now that Solty could be his long lost daughter (with memory loss though) in a complete Resemble body. It's overdone, and I'm hoping they don't take that route. I'd be a lot happier with the 'surrogate daughter' to help him forget about the one he lost plot.

Or I could just be thinking about this too hard.
