on another note: seems that a lot of future otomes have secret lives... I mean, they aren't allowed outside without a valid reason no? yet they all do shady things...

Now that's running overboard. Nagi has his hands in a lot, the Childe summoners, the Organ, getting more technology from Windbloom, and countless others, but he had NOTHING to do with the attempted rape on Arika.

He DID have something to do with what Sergey did with Arika afterwards, telling him to seduce the real princess if necessary, but he only confirmed Arika was the real princess a few minutes before she was attacked, and I'm still not 100% sure about that being true. Before then, Sergey's motives with Arika were entirely about his pent up obsession with Rena, who we assumed was Arika's mother.

The rape on Arika was masterminded by Tomoe. Tomoe MAY have influences beyond that, but so far it seems that it was all planned by her, and her motives are entirely based on Arika's closeness to Shizuru, to which Tomoe is incredibly jealous of. Tomoe again used Miya to call upon people Miya knew in the city, who would rape Arika.

I really want to know what that letter Tomoe gave to Miya was about though...

It provided an opportunity for Nagi's plan to move forward with Sergey and the princess, but he didn't mastermind the rape.

what I meant is that Nagi (now i know his name)... is the one behind Tomoe's actions... I mean she might be jealous of Shizuru but it doesn't make that much sense for her to be going after Arika like that (the first times maybe, but on one occasion she even tried to kill her... and at that point (the survival test) and on the attempted rape part, who came to the rescue??)

I see where you are going with that one, but if you rewatch eps 9 and 10, Nagi is focused on the ruins from the war for the pre-Migration Slaves, the ones Shizuru was investigating in the last few eps. He couldn't care less about Arika at that time, and other than her activation of the Organ, which he may or may not know her involvment, she means nothing to him until he finds out she's the princess (which probably has to do with the Organ). Mashiro had to twist his arm in order to get the Otome to move.

Any interest Major Wong had in Arika's missing status was because he still thought she was Rena's daughter. He was as shocked to find her falling from the ruins site than Arika was to find the cyborgs.
