of course he is... he is as old as Mashiro (well officially anyways) and yet he's scheming like mad, and has his hand in EVERYTHING that happened in the show so far (i didn't say "nearly everything", since I think he had something to do with the attempted rape as this gives a great opportunity for Sergei...)

on another note: seems that a lot of future otomes have secret lives... I mean, they aren't allowed outside without a valid reason no? yet they all do shady things...
