I used to think it was Nina till her Meister robe was revealed. That and when Nina's daggers are combimed don't form a sword. I also thought it was Mikoto since she had a huge sword in Hime but she doesn't seem to be an otome so no clue as to who it is or if they'll show up next ep.

The Ovas are based on ZHiME (Otome), not on HiME.

Saw that news yesterday as well.

With still 2 eps to see (in a 1hour special) we still have many lose ends.
Hopefully this Ova's will explain them.

Like Arika's connection with HiME's Alyssa.

It could be some kind of hybrid...That they show how the series are connected..
But I think it will be best to just wait for the end of Otome first..maybe thing's will reveal themselves..

Went to their channel said it was like a semi-private torrent that got un-privatized, idk. It's obviously not SS quality or anything, but I just wanna know what happened. Here it is if your like me Your Mom - Mai Otome 25

EDIT: NOT and April Fools joke, I watched it, it's real.

MORE EDIT: So good, but they (Your-Mom) aren't done with the second ep, which I assume is why the other groups are behind. Lots of interesting stuff happens, but I think the end will be dissappointing, with not enough focus on the side charachters. Hope I'm wrong!!!

For those of you who don't trust new groups here's Doremi - Mai Otome - 25.

26 was pretty good, though its a HiME paced ending as many expected, blink and you miss it. My favorite part however was the last scene, with Nina and Sergey...Amnesiac Sergey and still-obsessed Nina alone in a secluded retreat, how can this possibly turn out.

All in all this series was good, I didn't mind not getting to see hardcore Otome battles every week, since the show was more about the people than the fights they had, Natsuki's gun was awesome however, and of course more of Shizuru's Ivy-Blade would have been great. But of course everything turned out well and good so yay. I just hope there's a spring Anime that can fill the Mai Otome's shoes out there.

It was a very nice ending. Too easy, though, for all of them. The enemies were getting their asses kicked without much fighting back. Suspense was quite nonexistent. And somehow I couldn't anymore see what Nagi's plan was, and why he kept all the time acting like everything was going according to his plans, when he in fact didn't seem to have any reasonable plan anymore. Well, maybe that was just his personality.

Although I'm not complaining, really. I was expecting an ending like this, and like Yukimura said, this series wasn't about battles, in the end.

And what happened to the princess' bold decision of building a better realm for the citizens? It seems to me all she wanted to build was a better castle for herself... Well, the royalty seems to have the priorities right: In a battle wrecked city, first finish your own stronghold, then see what can be done about the apartments for the rabble.
