Ah. yes. It was a good ending. Can't really say a sad one, quite the contrary, but in the end a series like this can surely use a happy ending. It was such a long struggle for the characters in it.

Hmm... Kai will already be an old geezer when Saya next time wakes up. I wonder how lonely an old geezer, though. Apparently the twins may stay awake for a good while when they are growing up, but eventually they will join Saya in the tomb.

But yes, it's quite sad this series is finally over. With 50 episodes, it was always there for a good long while.

Sweet! So Nathan really was their mother's Chevalier. Or Auntie Chevalier. Anyway I think it was a good ending.I still wanna know what happens to Nathan now.

Nathan shouldn't have survived. He was clearly killed and petrified in the previous episode and it doesn't matter how powerful he is because he died and that's that.

(asking without watching the ep) So let me get this straight, the reason why Saya's blood didn't work on Nathan was b/c she was the child of the queen that gave her blood to him?

No they said 30 quite often in the show.

But at least Haji survived, he was my favorite character so it's good to see that the production team can even make loss of limb and getting crushed seem survivable.

With Diva dead and her blood out of enzymes, there isn't much that could kill Haji. So in that sense, assuming he didn't get incinerated in the "terrorist" attack by the bomber, it's only logical he stayed alive.

I really wanted Saya to end her life, it would at least complete her saga. I expected the babies to stay alive though.

The fact that Nathan is still alive makes my earlier prediction possible, but I had ruled it out. Did it show him getting all stony and cracked when he died?

Well all good things must come to an end, and end it certainly did. This series was a really good one, the storyline was amazingly well structured and it flowed so damn beautfully. It was a emotional roller coaster, at times it felt that it was a bit too much to take but you just couldn't stay away.

The last 10 episodes revealed so much and it held so much sadness. It literally drained all of your emotions from you and you couldn't help getting wrapped up in it.

It is sad that Saya actually wanted to die, believing that her existance was not wanted. I guess feeling/being responsible for alot of misery that was cause by her actions would do that to anyone. But I am definitely happy that it was decided for her that she should live.

It was awsome that Haji didn't die, after all he is her oldest, strongest and most trusted foundation stone for living. For all of time he has been there looking out and standing by her, loving and supporting her, it would have been cruel if at the end he was to die.

As for the question why Amsel was a bit cautious of Nathan. It is not necessarily ture that Amsel was Diva's first chivalier, after all he is a reseacher/ scientist. It is only natural that he would have someone else test things out before trying it. Also he said it himself "and finally i became her chivalier", the closest bound that he could share "supreme love".

Nathan's history in unknown but it can be said that he is if not the oldest, certain one of the oldest of chivaliers. But I believe that he was the first. Also if you look at episode 49 carefully Saya's eyes were normal, remember when he blood is active her eye's seems that light is coming out from it. Without it being active it is nothing more than ordinary blood. Remember this was explained earlier in the series, possibilly this is how he survived.

This was definitely one of my favorite new series, it was a work of art. It was filled with alot of sadness, but it is beautiful. It almsot brought me to tears. It was definitely a very harsh anime, emotionally that is, but I am glad that it ended with a hopeful future.

I knew that Nathan had to survive. It would just have been poor to let that flamboyant fucker die like like a filthy peasant. I was also glad to see Amshel return... then I was sad as he did a fucking Fu Chen ( <3 ) by getting more or less instantly owned by Mr. Apathy. However, it was all good since he at least brought a protagonist down with him... or so I thought until it was revealed that Haji pulled a Kira ( I laugh at the concept of death ) by somehow escaping the infernal carnage. At that point I was just infuriated by yet another instance of nonsensical preservation of a fan favorite. Cease mocking the reaper, fools!

All in all a good anime. However, I wish they had a taken a few more liberties and strayed from the recipe by killing off more good guys. But whatever, at least Riku died horribly and got raped on top of that. That's more than you can ask from most animes so my wicked heart shall be content.

Nope, he just fell down that hole after having been sliced in two by Super Saya. A pretty durable guy if you ask me.

Another great series comes to an end, time to burn 8GB+ off my HDD.

This was a great series throughout the entire 50 episodes. The characters were well done, the story was great.

I agree with dragonrage about her eyes not being lit up and that being the reason for Nathan living, I was suprised when I saw him alive. As for Haji, I wasn't suprised at all, I was expecting it, I knew he wasn't going to die, especially after the remark Kai said to Saya.

Hey kai, why is it ok for you to revive this dead topic, but you gave me the business when I revived that other topic about Blood+? Seems like a double standard to me.

Anyway, I'm on episode 20 something of this terrible terrible series, and I can't find the will to continue watching it. I wanted so much to like the series because everyone I know said it was good, but it's not. Everything about this series sucks except for the first episode. After that, it's all downhill with lots of obnoxious characters, over-done subject matter, and a weak storyline. I mean, can you honestly say you liked Riku or Kai, or any of the very girly bad guys, or Saya or Diva?? Terrible terrible series and I will clear 8+ GB from my drives and destroy the DVDs of this tripe too.
