Just watched episode 18, a pretty meh episode I thought.
How fucking stupid are Saya and Hagi? I thought it was fairly obvious from the fight on the train that Julia was a Chiroptera (or some other kind of vamp). But now theyre acting like they have no idea whats going on Makes no goddamn sense...

we can guess they are sisters because they are both freakishly abnormal. Hagi was originally intended to guard Diva. Man, the youngest sibling always gets the pampering. What is up with these Schiffs?
Was he supposed to guard Diva? I don't remember getting that notion.
Well it seems like the Chevaliers are Diva's protectors. The male/female one said that Hagi was a fallen Chevalier, so im assuming his original task was to gaurd Diva. I might be wrong.
Hagi would then be un Chevalier noir... It makes sense people who are called knights would guard the princess. However, a sister of a princess is a princess as well, so Hagi is still as much a knight as the rest of the bunch. By definition. Maybe he did guard Diva in the past, but maybe not. He might have guarded the princess of death instead, always.
episode 19 was a pretty big one. I'm starting to really wonder about Hagi. Those three kids (the Schiff) seemed afraid of him (or were they actually afraid of the Chevalier in Elizabeth's body?) but Hagi has been getting pwned in so many episodes recently. It's like he can't take on other Chevaliers at all. Sorta a let down.
Five Chevalier: Hagi, Solomon, Phantom (Karl), the black military guy (forget his name) and the one in Elizabeth's body. I think we have all of them accounted for... unless they recruited a new member after Hagi left.
If Saya was the older sister it seems like all the Chevalier should be on her side. But she only has Hagi (who clearly follows her out of love) which makes me think something happened a long time ago between Saya and Diva, some huge disagreement or power struggle. Saya is supposed to kill Diva, but this Chevalier seemed to be acting under orders to NOT kill Saya (same during the fight with Karl, he just wanted to awaken her powers) so it seems Diva doesn't want to kill Saya....
Next episode hopefully explains alot. Candy-man is back (what the hell is his role anyway? He seems like just another pawn to me...) along with Solomon. Hopefully Diva makes an appearance in the next episode as well...

Yeah, it's fine that he's a Chevalier... But he could've always been Saya's Chevalier.
but then why would there be 5 Chevalier, especially 3 (maybe 4) all on one side? Either there's a huge royal-vampire family thing going on (and we just don't know about it yet) or the Chevalier are supposed to protect the head of the family (vampire overlord). watched 20. Bud might be right, they said Hagi left with Saya, but he also had something to do with the Divas. The Chevalier sure are a happy group, it confuses me.
I find it interesting how Saya's chevalier is to become Diva's groom while Diva's chevalier's are meant for Saya...
Somehow I don't think Hagi would make a very agreeable groom for Diva, if Saya was indeed killed...
Who were the fast dudes in this episode? They had the vampiric super speed, but apparently they were lacking information (or simply wits), as they seemed to lost to the chevalier so easily, yet they obviously thought they could beat the dude. Were they some prototype soldiers created by the Red Chield?

also, hagi seems much weaker then amchel + he doesnt seem to have that "red eye(chiropteran)" mode like solomon, ( although he rox in ep 21)

kinda odd how all of a sudden hagi was like fucking superman, and how much longer is saya gonna be on this emo trip its been 21 eps now. i was hopeing she would be bad ass like the one in the oav oh well good eps
WELL in the preview saya says, hagi i remember everything now, so im geussing she's back to normal in ep22, so i think we'll the fighting machine saya as she is in the 1st OP from now on, and also i think hagi is just plain badass, stronger then solomon normal ( dont know about the red eyes mode, but prolly not), stronger then karl( the seemed equal but i think hagi was a bit stronger), but much much weaker then amchel.
if it wasnt for that gee guy figuring out hagi's plans, hagi wouldve trashed all of them, while solomon got his arm cut off by 2 of them, and needed to go chiropteran to kill em, so hagi is definitly stronger then solomon's normal form, i think its solomon, karl, hagi, nathan or james and then amchel as strongest, this would mean that either saya has some badass super form, or hagi has it, otherwise amchel is impossible to defeat

From what I'm gathering from the Chevalier conversation, there's a fairly clear evolutionary divergence with all the vampires. Here's a quick summary of what we've got so far.
First of all, I'm almost positive Amchel was lying to Saya about her being a chiropteran. It's more to throw her off and mess her up (as it clearly has over the last few eps) so he will find an easier time killing her, since that's obviously his goal.
-There's the fake people/freak/chiro babies from Vietnam at the very bottom, but they don't seem to follow other than genetic mods of regular chiropterans, so we can ignore them.
-At the bottom we have the basic chiropterans. The ones we saw from the original movie and continued here. Batwings, horsefaces, claws, the whole monster form. Weak, and easy to stop for humans, cake for Saya to kill.
-Next we have these new ones. They are the standard vampire-myth vamps you've heard about since you first heard of Dracula. Feed off humans just to live another day, and burn up in the sun. They've mentioned they're cursed and need better than Chevalier blood to fix themselves. Not much else to say.
-Then we have the Chevaliers. We don't know too much about them, other than they appear to be super powered Chiropterans who act as servants to Diva and Saya. The ones on Diva's side clearly have their own little agenda, and are of varying degrees of super power, and from what I assume have unique "war forms." They are less than perfect though, but very very close to it.
-At the top we have the "true vampires." I call them that only because of the comments in the movie, ones I've mentioned multiple times before in this thread. This level consists of just two (as far as we know), Saya and Diva (whom I'm guessing are twins?). The look normal, don't need to transform, and all other types of vampries come from them in some way. Diva creates, Saya destroys. The have no weaknesses at all, and are very powerful. Diva's already displayed some power while asleep with the song, and the leaf on her hair shrivveling and dying is a pretty good indication of power. Saya is strong as well, but since her exploits in Vietnam has been lacking somewhat in the motivation department. We all know how good she really is, otherwise Amchel shouldn't have any reason at all to be afraid of her.
It looks like we'll find out most of the story in the next eps.
From what Solomon was talking to himself about, it seels Amschel made these 'Nosferatu' Chiropterans in the lab. It might explain why they felt inferior, they're copies. They seem to only be strong and fast, lacking most of the skills that make Chevaliers and Saya so dangerous. And someone had to make those wepons for them.
Question: Where are Haji and Saya going? Are they still in Russia or are they near where Kai's gf and the reporter are?
They are in France near the Chateau. That's why they got attacked by the "Schiff" (I think that's what they were called). They are very close to where the reporter and the Ojou are. From what we know from the intersperced flashbacks, that's where Saya's life as a vampire began.
There was a bit of a jump, Saya and Hagi traveled by land to france, while the rest flew by helicopter to the Red Sheild Headquarters.

I had totally forgotten about the reporter and the Yakuza daughter. So when that scene started I was like, 'who the fuck are these people?' then it came back to me and i was like 'oh yeah, they're the ones more entertaining than the main characters!'
Kai's girl is HAWT! He should have at least left on better terms with her. If it wasn't an anime she'd be boinking some other dude right now while he goes chasing after bats (Chiroptera, i incidentally found out recently, is part of the scientific name for bats). That day-dream was ROFL funny. Those two crack me up
Hagi has got to get a better weapon. That coffin is way too unwieldy...
Schiff were pretty good. But 'gee' do they have a rough deal...

Was it Saya that killed everyone before the fire? It looked like her. I would like to know how the Schiff originated, and it seems like they have some sort of disease that only Saya or Diva's blood can cure.
