yeah, most of the people i see playing this game turn out to be kill stealing, power hungry bitches. who think they can do anything like tell people to get out, just so they can have the kills for themselves.

it was when GM summoned monsters to attack towns. It was so crazy that week. I lagged for at least 10minutes in the town and when it stopped lagging everyone had died. I think it was around summer.

Yeah, the new patch is completely awesome. They finally added some destructible environments. Now, if only they could add some interactive environments like moving platforms, and some traps on regular maps like falling snow. That would be perfect. They also need to balance the system. Sins are too strong, mages are too weak.

what are you talking about mageare not too weak they are too strong, they are the strongest after lvl 15! they do like 300 dmg at lvl 20 damn it
and the destructible environment? you mean the plant at ellinia? its just for a quest for Dr. Betty... lol
after checking a bit... they only added some stuff(the quest, the plant, the object, everything else) found on MapleSEA
lol. Just wait until you reach level 35, and you start getting KSed by sins. It'll be even worse at level 50, by with time most assasins have both haste and critical maxed out. So they're moving faster than you, attacking faster, and doing more damage per attack. Furthurmore, at the third job level, they get this attack called meso explosion, which increases in damage with the amount of meso dropped. This allows them, in combination with their dark sight (turns them invisible) to be able to solo balrog before any other class in the game. Mages power just doesn't compare. At low levels sure, but at higher levels, nope.
And about the destructible environments, there are boxes you can destroy in orbis, and there are other plants you can destroy all over the kerning city swamps. They may add more later.

lol. Lightning = Useful only against weak monsters. I don't know what level you are, but when you get to level 52, go to cold eye with your maxed out lightning and take em out. For comparison, bring a sin at about the same level with max critical. Watch it take about the same time for the two of you to take out the same number of cold eyes. If the monsters are weak, then sure, the mage is faster, but who gives a crap about weak monsters?
Then you take a look at ice...Sure it freezes monsters and stops their attacks, but as you go up in level, it'll take you 3-4 hits to beat monsters sins take out in 2. I think the sin gets out at least three attacks for every two attacks the ice mage gets out. Consequently, they don't care that the monsters attacks are stopped. They're dead before they have a shot at attacking. Also, when you get to levels 40-50, go and try to KS a sin of comparable level. He'll hand you your ass on a platter because he'll kill thing so much faster than you.

no wonder why there is so many powerful mage (like lvl 45 and more) to the left of henesys killing all the green mushroom...
right now, I level faster on fire drakes then on any of the weak monsters around. Furthurmore, weak monsters give generally crappy drops. You don't get a lot of cash from crappy drops. I think there comes a point where you need to not fight things you can kill in one hit. I've hunted at henesys before, and the mushrooms just don't spawn fast enough for me to use lightning to its maximum potential. Panlids aren't such bad drops I guess, but they sell for 300k. Steeleys, dropped by firedrakes, sell for 10 mil.
To Below: .....................You realise that, there are at least 3 job changes in maple story right? and you realise that the first job lasts from level 8 or 10 all the way through 30, and the second job lasts from 30 all the way through 70, and that the third job lasts from levels 70 all the way to, at least 120? There may be a 4th job level in the works. Furthurmore, assuming you do everything correctly to obtain each new level, every level takes longer to obtain than the one before it. With this in mind, what level are you? If you're 30 or less, you don't really know anything. In the long run and for the majority of the game, mages are screwed relative to other classes as things stand. Btw, this edit only matters if your post below is in response to any of the things I've said.

Mages lvl so fast...

MapleStory is corrently under Maintenance (Website and Game)
with a bit a luck when this maintenance will be over we Global player, will finally have the new place, Ludibrium (or toyland...) for those who don't know Ludibrium is a new city that is including a new Party Quest for level 35-50, also with some new Quest and New monsters!
Played this on Brea for a while earlier. Got to lvl 8. Pretty boring game.
And all the fucking kids inhabiting it... I can't even tell them to fuck off because the game's damn filter prevents me to.
... lvl 8.. and you got tired?! the game is boring until you are lvl 10 (unless you want to be a crappy mage like all the noob in the game, at lvl 8)
