    Maple Story

    Well I've recently run into a slew of good look and came across 2 dropped items. Figured I'd give the people here first shot, if anything catchs your eye tell me.

    Purple Avenger (Female Thief only. Lvl 35 Dex Req = 70, Luk Req=95) Weapon Def. 35 ~ 45 MP +5 ( 4 ~ 6) Luk +4 ( 3 ~ 5 ) Number of Upgrades Available 10

    Composite Bow (Archer) Lvl 15. Don't recall stats.

    Also trying to sell a Steel Shield for Warrior class.

    I'm on the Bora server, usually channel 1 or 2 (sometimes 20 = p ) so give me a holler if you're interested.

    Here's a little useful information: When you do a jump quest, you're allowed to return into that area for awhile. If you do and go through the course again, you can get items. I'm repeating the forest of patience 2, thats where you do the quest for Sabitrama of Sleepywood. Every time you go through, you get two ore, each of the same type, but randomly determined at every go. It might be different for other areas, maybe you get items.

    Level 34 Ice/Lightning Wizard. I'll be this way for a bit. Waiting for my brother to catch up before I start power leveling again. But if you make it first fooman, I would not mind going around and exploring some areas I haven't been to yet.

    I just got started last night, and made it to a level 11 warrior on Broa. Aiming for a Spearman/

    Its a good time killer and destressor, I really enjoy playing it and making freinds with unkown people. Barles I tried to buddy you a while back but your buddy list was full, so.....Once you clear it out we can go kick some but somewhere,lol.

    I did quick someone, and you are on my buddy list. I'll remove you and try again. You should see a buddy request from Barles at the lower right portion of your screen.

    Woohoo! I'm at 14 and 50%- can get a full upgrade soon. I'm tired of running around in clothing and getting eaten [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Provided that I figure out where to go to sell ore. If not I'll have a partial set.

    Opalx2 and Oricalcam(Spl)x2 if anyone wants to buy them.




    Oh, and I had someone try to rip me off last night [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

    Had lvl 15 Warrior pants that he tried to sell me for 30k >_< I laughed, then he dropped it to 20k, and I chided him for trying to rip a new player off for 14-15k over the NPC price.


    This is the kind of crap I was hoping wouldn't be in this game >_> Ragnarok had the same inflation/overpricing by players, and it made the game unplayable for me, since to get ANY low lvl piece of equip, I'd need something like 1,000,000Z >_<

    The best places to sell anything are in Perrion, and in Kerning city on channel 1. Just walk along the lowest levels of both cities and you'll see a whole mess of people there. Just run around shouting "ORES FOR SALE". However, I recommend that you keep all of your ores. You'll be able to create items using these ores along with some meso that you can't buy, and the ore requirements are extremely steep. Just wear the equipment you have until you've collected enough meso to upgrade. My favorite source of meso is selling drop items I have no purpose for, like a rogue's armor or something.

    Well I'm making a bit of meso from the slimes and their drops so I'll just stick with NPCing them (ore aside). Hopefully I'll get more bubbles to drop [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

    Are spearmen/Dragon Knights common?

    I see way more swordsman than I do spearmen around. I see a spearman only everyonce in awhile. I've never seen a dragon knight. So, at least on the Broa server, spearmen/dragon knights are not common from my observation. But I think you're on the right track, you get to eventually be a Dark Knight!!

    A fully upgraded Dragon Knight has the ability to boost the PT's HP and MP by 60% for something like 2 mins. And then there's the full screen hp sacrifice attack.... I'll stick with this [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

    Well, I'm just barely into 16 now, wee!

    I do wish that the server hadn't booted me like it did last night >_> Someone was going to fame me up for helping his 2nd-3rd character with getting firewood (I gave him like 40 and let him have the next 10 drops) but the server hiccupped and I forgot what channel he was in ><!

    Oh well.

    next time something like that happens, do a /find on the person's name. It'll tell you their location and channel.

    and for that matter, he said he was switching to an archer of his to come fame me up, and he kind of neglected to give me that name >_>

    Oh well.


    Must go kill Green Mushrooms and Bubblings.... but I'm at work, so I'll have to wait.

    Edit:

    Just planning ahead: Should I bank on getting a Fish Spear to drop from Bubblings (which I'll be killing for quest reasons anyways), or should I save for a Studded Polearm instead? On top of lvl 20 armor.

    Fish Spear > Studded Polearm on all counts, but have you guys seen many?
