Red K should have turned clark into a more impulsive guy, not more EVIL (sure, I can see how clark would like to see Lex in Zod, but I'd expect him to go out and have sexy fun with Lois, like any other redK episode).

speaking of, the less screen time Lois and Clark have together, the better the bits they do get are. I'm actually liking them now.

edit: and yes, it's totally believable that Lois, a competent reporter, would have a silverline recording pen instead of something, you know , professional. those things are crap, trust me.

first wallbanger: The Kandorians are the first chance Clark has for a real family.
I'm not going into the problem of Clark having his adoptive parents, one of them still alive (and due to showing up in the near future), his grandfather (who showed up once in the 2nd season), and his friends. but he had Kara. for two whole seasons.

1. Chloe and Tess are locked inside a fridge together! maybe they'll have to cuddle for warmth?
I'm pretty sure all the computer babble didn't make any sense, but I'll let that one slide (although, seriously? you can't turn the internet access off? at least turn off some computer screens to reduce the heat?), but the fact that Chloe spent a fortune upgrading the security last week... it's just like how every time we see a Lois enter a car, we know there's going to be an accident.
moving on, there's a camera bug inside Tess... didn't we do this one before? when Lex had eyes bugged?
you know, this reminds of the time chloe discovered her krypto power (how did she lose them, anyway?), some evil dude put a GPS transmitter in her. and she and clark had a touching moment of trust (in an episode that revolved around them two).
a couple of illogical scenes later (with horrible dialog that made me want to punch Tess), and we have a retelling of this, with Chloe impaling Tess with a giant needle.
a short break.... who didn't get to stick something inside Tess during her two seasons of action?
Lex (eye bug), Chess (hack bug), Oliver (obvious), Zod (obvious) and now Chloe.
I'd pay good money to see a movie with Alison Mack 'impaling' whoever Tess actress is.
and Chloe has a dilemma about bringing Tess back. remember this one.

2. Zod, his wife, his wife's sister, and kendorians.
so, that's some good relationship values Faora (zod's girlfriend) has, she doesn't mind him hitting that fine Tess ass?
it seems that grabbing a woman by the neck is a cultural thing for the alien race, it's not that clark is an ass, he's just following his genetics. good thing that Zod aborted Davis, though, we wouldn't want another evil alien coming to hunt us in 2030 (the 30th season of smallvile: television-is-doomed day)
every single alien can fly. what does clark do? sulk because he invited Zod to his special place and now Zod has called all the cool kids there and they had a party without inviting him.

3. Oliver. poor, poor oliver.
Zod has powers, what can a single, non freak man like you do?
apparently, enough. I salute thee.
despite what clark said, Oliver has nothing to be ashamed of in his morals.

3.5 Chloe & Oliver vs Clark.
heroes, who had their sworn enemies on death bed, and refused to kill despite wanting to, simply due to their loyalty (Oliver to Clark, Chloe to her word).
and on the red\blue\blurry corner. Clark. who when faced with a chance to lay his case as to why the super powered men shouldn't kill and conquer the world, decided to ask for someone else to do the talking.
Chloe and Oliver have the moral high-ground, they help people despite their better judgment. Clark did bring Zod back to life, I agree, but it makes a better argument for me if I say that it's only because he liked having Zod around to stroke his... ego.

4. Chess, the most incompetent secret organization since the ANBU.
first of all, why not mention the black king? you know, your colleague that had to go into hiding last week. it's not much, but it would give me a feeling that someone is watching this show.
second order of buisness. you finally get through the pesky firewall you've trying to hack the past five months, and then something else happens, why not send a different team to deal with it? are you so low on vechiles that you can't spare one? who only has three agents, who proabably aren't proffesional soldiers and couldn't do much good in operation "cut off the aliens head, do not try to learn their superior knowledge of the world".


Clark is useless. he can't put up a fight, he can't flare up a good idea, he can't even give a good reason as to why the kendoerian-human war is a bad thing.

It was nice seeing Martha again. And the fact that she is the red queen does not surprise me all that much. I am guessing John the Martian was working for her as well since he mentioned that there were players on the board.

Clark is going to come clean to Lois, that is going to great. I think that they can come up with quite a bit of story lines with her in the know.

heck, I'd be surprised if that really is clark and not Zod blur. who wants to get back at clark for killing \ hitting his woman (be it Faora or Tess).

Why did they get Lois and Clark's jobs back? it was such a great thing when they didn't have to pretend to care about shit. at least, they could give only one of them the job back. heck, why does clark even want a job?

I really wish they would have let chloe go this episode, have her say "I can't hide from the world anymore, I need to start over" and move her to Gotham or somewhere.

they say the book of rao is a science thing, but really, it can't differentiate between people? that's a magical wand, people.

I hate this show, and I can't stop watching. I'll stop watching next week, I promise!

I thought the same thing about the arm bands. I thought that was in bad taste to say the least, a well. I am glad that Lois knows now.

Curious to know who attacked Oli though. I forgot all about blue kryptonite. Shame Clark didn't remember it either.

Okay that whole Blue Kryptonite thing seemed like utter contrived BS.

First of all where the heck did Zod get a perfectly formed blue kryptonite knife. I can understand how having Blue Kryptonite weapons would be much more 'humane' than green ones but generally you use a knife to kill someone not incapacitate them so why would anyone make a kryptonite knife out of anything but the green? For the purpose of making use of the blue's effect a hunk of would have made a lot more sense. I'll bet it was done this way since it was cheaper to use the same prop as the green knives and change the color of the glow effect in post production than to make/find another rock model.

Secondly, Blue Kryptonite may take away powers but it doesn't make one 'not' a kryptonian. That particular logic bomb could have been mostly avoided if they had just said the Book of Rau would transport all 'powered' kryptonians to another planet. What ever happened to Kara canonically anyway?

Once again I really wish this show would just end. They keep teasing us with glimpses of 'Superman' but since it's an ironclad rule that Superman can never really appear in this show all the times they try and hint at his mythos end up feeling like teases without that hint of 'maybe it'll really happen' that makes a proper tease actually exciting.

why?
Kara was a horrible character. they had nothing to do with her. she didn't even get to hang around clark after the 4th episode.
they gave her amensia, and then brainwash, and then she was a robot. and then sent her to space, never to be heard of again.

Kara can either act as superman's mentor (teaching how to be less of an asshole and how to fly) or or a disciple of clarck on being human (not being so much of a bitch and become a useful member of society). SV clark isn't allowed to do neither of those, due to the showrunners being idiots.

fuckin' dammit. I shouldn't get started on this...

Super Season 10 Scene-Stealers: New footage from the final season kicked off the panel

A. For something to be found, it has to first exist, doesn't it?
B. They had sex mid season, we know they are involved romantically, why should a kiss between them be such an event? or maybe they're going to retcon 'booty call' into something else than sex, like how they did with Lana at season 3?
C. As if something that happened in the last five minutes of the final episode really matters. I even forgot she was hospitalized and declared dead.
D. She has been in a single episode and had two lines, why bother bringing her now? not to mention her role is to be a 'counter Lois' character. why send Lois to Africa if she's going to be in every episode of the season?
E. I'm pretty sure we've heard that word several time in earlier seasons, it's a vague spoiler that can mean nothing but tease.
F. Well, good for you, character assassinated. you've killed everyone important to her, so now it's time to send away the actress while keeping the super-google-info-expo-girl. it's fitting that this part is labeled F.


as for the rest, bringing back characters and actors long after they've been dried empty of any content... that's what smallville is all about.

I'm going to watch every episode, of course.

Season 10 starts tomorrow, final season of the show (haven't we heard that before?), but this time it looks quite official, as the promos for the show are also calling it the final season.

In other news, Teri Hatcher will be playing Lois' mom on Smallville.
