But I think a lot of this is just useless speculation, as we haven't even seen post-time jump sasuke. Chances are, he has improved in all areas, just as Neji has. He also probably can use Chidori more than twice - not sure of that, but it's a logical assumption. His body will have grown used to the power of the curse seal. He went to Oro to get powerful enough to kill Itachi, which means that his current skill might just be somewhere in that ballpark (if not somewhat lower).
I also don't think that Sasuke has to use chidori in any and every situation. Just as Neji doesn't have to use Kaiten.
I agree that Sasuke wouldn't really be able to find about about Neji's blindspot, or effectively target it.

I pretty much agree with this. I wouldn't say with confidence that he's more intelligent than Neji (maybe AS intelligent? Who knows), but he's a genious fighter as well. His taijutsu/ninjutsu are probably on par with or even better than Neiji's - they just have different styles. About the Chuunin exam thing. I think that because Neji is a branch family member, no one expected him to be all that gtreat. Maybe that's why there wasn't any hype. But then again, we did see some people talking about him before his and Naruto's match.

I love how people talk about how Sasuke is such a genius. What has Sasuke ever come up with besides the Lion Combo?(Which he stole the beginning from Rock Lee). His moves are some basic Katon moves(Which every Uchiha knew) that never work, Chidori which can be dodged pretty easily and was taught to him by Kakashi, and Curse Seal which takes tons of chakra and was GIVEN to him by Orochimaru. Now Neji is the real genius, he figured out two head house Hyuuga moves. He was not taught them he did it by himself. Pretty damn impressive. This is such an easy match, all Neji needs is one solid Jyuuken hit and Sasuke is done for, Sasuke does not have two chakras like Naruto. Neji even took one of those signature Head House techniques even further, with the 128-Palms.
