Seriously though, for Sasuke to penetrate Kaiten, he'd have to be moving. It's like trying to stroll into the middle of a tornado. The amount and strength of the chakra involved for both techniques is probably similar, but actually getting through the Kaiten is another matter.

However, Sasuke was able to see Naruto's movements due to the movements being imbued with Chakra. He says this. Something along the lines of, "The subtle way in which chakra enters his body, I can see his next movement." It was almost as if his movement were a ninja art. Ninjutsu.

It's already been explained that Taijutsu is fueled on stamina, which is capable of being read by the Sharingan, but much more difficult.

Gaara's Sphere of Sand was far from an 'Ultimate' Defense. Sure, they dubbed it that, but it was far from deserving of such a moniker.

Kaiten is more of an ultimate defense, stated by others and even realized as better by Gaara. Did you not see his face when Neji initially executed it? Our sleepless shinobi was speechless.

I don't think Kaiten'd rip anything off unless something tried to match or exceed the force that Kaiten is exerting. Kaiten is something similar to Cyclops' Optic Blasts for any comic nerds out there. It's more of a concussive blast. Forcible energy, but not in possession of any heat or anything. So, it'd blast through or knock back something but not burn or shred.

Sasuke would be the determined type to try and push through the Heavenly Spin, though .. and FAIL!!

By the way, My vote on Neji

It is because I found a easy way for Neji to win...

Neji's 360 vision actually is inner sightt, which mean he does not need the 'eye' to see (see how he train, always close his eyes).

So, if Neji use Flash seal (the paper make flash light, Shikamaru use it before), make Sasuke blind for fews second.... then sasuke is pretty dead meat (as he did not have any absolute defence)

In Sasuke's Chidori, the chakra is concentrated at one point where as in Neji's Kaiten its like a bubble field force around him, meaning divided. So it wouldnt be hard to penetrate. Also even Neji 360 vision has a flaw. I wouldnt be surprised If Sasuke can find another one in Kiaten through his sharingan.

Exactly. Just a force field around him. Where as Chidori is designed to cut through like a sword through anything, hell even lightning.

Did you guys all forget how ezly Kakashi or Itachi stopped Sasuke's Chidori? All they had to do is grab his arm...Neji can do this without breaking a sweat.

They didnt stop the Chidori itself. Look closely. Anyway it would be a bad idea for Neji looking into Itachi's eyes or Kakashi's for that matter.

Sasuke doent need to run towards Neji. Since Neji is a hand 2 hand combat user he will have to come to Sasuke to do some damage.

so u dont assume this could happen....

Neji charges towards Sasuke.
Sasuke : Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique).
Neji : I cant see anything, my eyes.
Sasuke grabs Neji's and charges chidori and up Neji's balls.........
Neji disappers from the face off the earth (Naruto World).

Well then Sasuke has to use that seal before neji actually attacks cause I doubt Sasuke can handel hand to hand combat against Neji...and Neji's hits are lethal..but i guess Sasuke can win with pure power with that seal

If far away
1> just dodge / run around
2> Kaiten
if close by
1> even easier to dodge (by Neji speed) due to harder to aim (for example: Neji jump over sasuke)
2> use 64 hit to hit the fireball (is it possible?)

by the way, i think Neji's 360 vision is inner sight, which mean he did not need the eye to see. even hit by fireball, he still can see.

I'm going to take Neji. The byakugan and sharingan make both of them exceptional taijutsu users, BUT as little as one single blow from Jyuuken can completely cut off Sasuke's chakra system and mess him up big time. I think Kidoumaru found Kaiten's weak spot because he's a genius, and also because he was able to observe from a distance Neji's weakness, because Kidoumaru was a long-range fighter, which Sasuke is not. I don't think there's much of a chance Neji will be affected by Sasuke's fireball moves, and since Chidori takes so long, Sasuke can't use it in a surprise ambush, and if Neji blocks the Chidori, I'd have to say it's over for Sasuke. He'd have depleted a maximum of half his chakra with one chidori, and if Neji dodges it, the fight is over, 64 hits later.

I think that Sasuke could be able to defeat Neji, but just doesn't have the patience or skills to find the weak spot in Neji's defence.
instead Sasuke would just storm at Neji with Chidori and hopes it all turns out well... which won't happen.
or if he gets one hit from Neji on his arm, than he lost his strongest attack.

I'm gonna pick this apart since I'm bored.

Even though Sasuke's chidori is probably "stronger" (I already said this), the fact that Kaiten is constantly moving and rotating adds to the force is applies. It's like when he deflected an oncoming Kyuubi-Naruto. Yeah, the chakra itself wouldn't be hard to penetrate, but actually getting through it to Neji would be quite hard.

I'm thinking of changing my vote to Neji...
