Make sure people realize that when a period is at the end of the post, that means the sentence is over.
Also, put a limit on the curses and immature language. Just say if it is over done, those posts will be
excluded from the story. If you need any help with the monitoring, i could lend you a hand, or you can
ask a mod for help.

I don't think it'd work for the first number of posts, until the story really kicked off, but just for the kick of things, why not have the people who are posting try to actually incorporate themselves into the story. As opposed to random three words for shits and giggles, try adding something sensible as if the story were their own story. With everyone emptying out their creative ideas to make this their own story, that in itself with bring the desired variation and humor for it.
Probably sounds weird and difficult, but I think it'd prove to be entertaining. My two cents. I'm sure I'll donate a few more if something hasn't kicked off already ..

How about a novel? This will be complicated, but lets say we choose a plot, perhaps choose the number of characters that are going to be involved and leave the rest to the forum. We can do it chapter by chapter so that we dont have to go thru huge pages of text to see what is going on.
