After the party from hell I'm so happy to read that Shana will be getting a movie. I think this is the first anime that will have a movie that I'll actually be looking forward to the way people wanted the Naruto and FMA movie which I still need to watch. Now I dunno how I want 24 to end since I want a conclusion but I wouldn't mind seeing the 3fights in a movie but I also wanna see the silver and Yuji dad.

well i liked the ending theres tons of shit left un done like some of the people we saw at the start of the show (the old guy/ the gray armor guy) but i was glad that there was an ending that showed what happend to almost every one. i hate endings to shows like this cause there is always one scean with someone floating in some shit talking about there feelings and there identity ect ect like with yuji and hec, or some wierd shit that somehow fixes everything BIG ASS FLAME SAVES THE WHOLE CITY!...in any case i liked it at least it didnt end with shana and yuji holding hands or hugging while half naked with that shinney anime background shit

The excuse for the giant flame fixing things is that summoning all that badassness consumed theexcess PofE that was destroying the city, I assume that Alastor's true form only caused damage in the fuzetsu and they were able to fix it, though the Hecate energy was messing up things that couldn't be fixed any other way.
All in all, I think the ending was ok, but it could have been better...especially with two more episodes to do everything, *Wilhelmina and Margery Fights* but it was a good way to stop production, instead of saying the end of time is now it just says, that's all we have to tell. I can appreciate the semi-closure we did get, Shana and Yuji seem to be much more comfortable and closer than ever, no one is suffereing or unhappy, life is back to normal. Hopefully the movie won't just aim to look cool but will advance the charachters more, not to an absolute end, but something like what Shambala did for the FMA storyline. Perhaps a mutual confession of love ?!?!?

In my opinion this series got a really elegant and nice ending. Actually it could have ended also with Shana and Yuji walking hand in hand into the flames, but considering there is already a movie in the making, that wouldn't have made much sense. But also with a happy ending like this, it wasn't bad. Although the explanation was a bit hollow: "Oh, you just happened to be such a large container that nothing happened. Heh heh, my bad for frightening you earlier..."
Also it's somewhat strange that nobody died. I don't know if that means all the good guys and bad guys will be in the movie, or why they all survived happily. Earlier in the series people have died, so it certainly shouldn't have been against the general mood of the show.
I also taught it was really strange that no one died, but I really liked this ending.
Probably because I havn't seen one end like this in a while. And I'm looking forward to the movie, I want to see what happens with Wilhemina and the mom.
EDIT: I'm not watching Naruto/Bleach fillers. Now that this series is finished, I need something else.
At current the only animes I'm watching are Fate Stay/Night and One Piece. Anyone have any suggestions?

I honestly didn't expect anyone to die because I knew that this was just the first half of the show. I'm hoping we get the second season next fall or winter after the movie is out. Ike will prob have a bigger role since he's vowed to take action. And now I've lost my top show
@Lucifus, did you ever try watching My Hime followed by My Otome? Even though they seem to be independent I got a bigger kick out of Otome after watching the awesomeness of Hime.

I liked the ending, and I also think that there will be another season. Various hints makes me think this might happen, especially at the very end when Ike is talking about how he'll get more action in the 2nd Term, and that other girl saying pretty much the same thing.
I thought Hecate would fight, guess not. I also thought Alastor might be a giant beast of flame, but all they showed was the fire and red eyes?
I hope there is a second season. There are still a lot of unanswered questions.
Actually, Alastor was shown, but with the poor video quality it is hard to see... The flames were merely sorrounding him.

Like the first Shanatan episode this is probably a short spoof on the show. The first wasn't too bad and I'd imagine people who enjoyed this show will like this little comedy.

The specials weren't that bad. It's a good thing that these aren't too long, otherwise they could get stale pretty quickly. It's a good laugh for any Shakugan no Shana fan.

Edit: Of course in cases like this I've nobody but myself to blame, but my hopes for this special were clearly over the top. While it is certainly worth watching, it wasn't any remarkable ova. It was pretty dull and tired, and despite a few good scenes, it doesn't leave much in the way of impressions. Perhaps the weakest part, in my opinion, was the fact the theme was a off in more ways than one: Shana and Yuuji got hardly any screen time (it has been ages since the series ended, and now only lesser characters get all the attention, come on!) and the onsen setting was used (or brushed aside) in an offhanded way for the dubious benefit of the very light plot.
And there was practically no fan service
