I didn't think the tuner would be much of a fighter, he seemed like he'd be more for balancing not desrupting, but we can't always be right can we. Cool Ep, nice transitional at end to link to the triumverate. Go Shana.

This ep was halarious, it had that One Piece feeling in the fact that it was just naturally funny without trying. I couldn't stop laughing at the professor and his rinne. The way Margery and Marco were making a big deal about his attack I was expecting something bigger I hope that was a watered down version.

Damn Wilhelmina... She should have remained a thing of the past (and not only because of the stupid way she talks). And what's the decision she forces Shana to make? To leave Yuji? That would be the same as summoning a couple of tomogaras to take the replenishing power inside him, and if he's indeed the the most valuable mistes, I hardly think that would be desirable for Flame Hazes. Or kill Yuji? Well, I don't think she could ever do that... Wilhelmina is nothing but an old bitch who got no loving in the past, and so she thinks nobody else should either.

Oh, the drama!

Wow I just got caught up with the latest episode
this anime has really turned awesome I liked the way how everyone found out each others secrets it was done very tastefully I cant get enough now.
looks like this anime might fill the void that Bleach and Naruto fillers have left in me, at least for now.

other good animes to fill that void... Eureka 7 and Zipang (OK, Zipang is a totally different kind of anime. more on the real side, but still, its my favourite ongoing series)

Finally watched episode 19.

What the hell was the Seeking Researcher's objective anyhow? To set up a base in that city? If that's true then they'll never be leaving, as all the action will come to them.
Khasim has tons and tons of scars, and Margery refers to him as "an old geezer". Just how long has he been around?
I was really pleasantly surprised at Yoshida in this episode. Took her awhile, but she seems to be progressing as a character. That girl really does have some guts. Glad she's pulling Yuji away from Shana.
I get so sick of hearing protagonists rag on and on about "Why'd you pull her into this?" Khasim had a job to do, and Yoshida was the best one around for it. Hell, I think it was the right thing to do, letting her see that Yuji is a Torch, because otherwise she'd never stop worrying about it. Now she's able to provide more support to Yuji, help fix the city and possibly play a role in the future. Besides, she would probably have wanted to help fix the distortion. (and i'm still not clear on what distortion is or what it does...)

Wilhemina's ~dearimasu really gets on my nerves. But not as much as the Seeking Researcher and his annoying Domino robot. I hope they get killed off fast. Then again, Alastor has been really bad about keeping Shana's emotions in check. "Heartless Wilhelmina" will provide a mch-needed catalyst to help Shana get past this difficulty stage.

Based on what was said afterwards, it seems to me he was just testing some method or technique. Perhaps just the ability to prevent tuning, or something else simple like that. So, he wasn't doing actually anything concrete, just experimenting with live opposition for future use. No doubt we will later see what it was all about, and what the real objective is.

Now she's able to provide more support to Yuji

And what support can Yoshida possibly give to Yuji? The only worry the guy has are guaranteed attacks by incredibly powerful enemies. I doubt Yoshida could much help with those. Yuji has accepted he's already dead, and he seems ok to live his life (or what's left of it) like that. Yoshida is just messing with his head by giving him different ideas, and making him more vulnerable to future attacks.

whilhelmina, wasnt she originally a tomogara? She was fighting next to that skeleton guy. She had to fulfill a promise with the skeleton so it must be that their both tomogara. But then.... why is she a Flame haze although she doesnt act like one. She looks more like a trained maid.

What series have you been watching? Whilhelmina was a Flame Haze. It was the skeleton that was a Tomogara and had to fulfill his promise. And a really powerful one at that.

Well this show kicks so much ass i'm amazed. Coolest scene so far was when the skeleton went beserk. And that other Flame Haze is much cooler. I mean she has a talking book. Really cool imo. Pervert smart ass talking book. Winner concept.

I can't help but wonder why Yuji didn't use his antiflame ring. It would have bought him nicely time to try to escape. Well, it might have been useless in the long run, considering how Wilhelmina probably is experienced, but who knows... Yuji knows the city better and would have had some nice hiding places in mind.

But indeed it was an excellent episode. I just hope Yuji will do something to escape in the next ep, and it won't end simply in Shana saving him (or some distraction).

I think this will all end up being a test setup by Wilhemina... I just can't see any other way of Yuji surviving if it's not because of that, I really doubt there will be any outside interference.

Hmm... You do have a point, Budweineken. I didn't consider that option. Of course she was already taking her time killing Yuji, much longer than necessary, but I was just putting that down to the list of anime traditions. But who would she be testing? Shana or Yuji? Wilhelmina is a bit contradictory character in general; she was very devoted in tutoring Shana back at the floating castle, yet as has been said she's quite heartless.

However, there's one fact that doesn't make sense: If she kills Yuji, the Reiji Maigo inside him will relocate. It will be a random translocation (as was said in the ep). So, it's like hiring a neutral third party guy to hide a nuclear bomb randomly somewhere, anywhere in the world hoping the terrorists wouldn't then be able to claim it. However, that would also mean flame hazes themselves have no idea where it is. And considering how the Tomogara operate, they would be very likely to be the ones finding it first.

It's more likely, if she indeed is going to kill Yuji, that Wilhelmina doesn't care at all about the Reiji Maigo; she just wants Shana to harden herself again. Well, interesting times, to say the least.

Episode 20
Fuck cliffhangers

Wilhelminas been out of the loop, and it shows in this episode. Alastor hasnt been talking much up to this point. I liked that Wilhelmina said, Mmm, what? Alastor has sounded like a constipated old man for the past few episodes, more grunting than actual words, at least outside of battle situations (where most of the real turmoil is)

I laughed out loud when they were hiding behind the telephone pole outside of Yujis house. Thats like something out of Looney Tunes. And with a ridiculous outfit like Wilhelminas and Shanas huge hair, was it really going to do that much good? Then Yujis mom just snuck up on them anyway. Flame Haze are pretty crappy at stealth...

But Wilhelmina is absolutely right in the way shes handling the issue. I was shocked that Shana would agree to it though. With Margery gone (cant believe she left those two. They better not fade away like Ike did...) and Khamsin already gone, who the hell is going to stop her? Well from the looks of next episode, seems like Shana does change her mind, and does Yoshida help too?

Nooooo I wasn't ready for Margery and Marco to leave yet, they were the best characters [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img].The scene where Wilhelmina was talking to Yuji's mom was funny, her reactions to Yuji's mom were great. And the way Wilhelmina and her spirit were talking down to Shana and Alaster was also funny.
