Is he really a female in the series, because I think she (?) really looks like a guy. Or is this some kind of plot thing that is going to be uncovered later? (and yes I want to be spoiled).

Anyway, she is a girl. I doubted it to at first, but her voice in the anime sounds like a girl also (Episode 45, she's the VC of the 4th Division). She really does look like a guy. I still don't get why they drew her so guy-like.
