I'm a pretty big cynic, but to blame the suicidal rage of the 9/11 hijackers on their situation is kind of odd, considering millions of other people live in the same kind of situation daily and don't orchestrate enormous attacks against the U.S. It takes a kind of malice that isn't born out of situational angst, but deep psychological problems too. 99% of people put in a situation of total abject poverty do not strike out at a government across the world in an attack to murder innocent citizens and destablize the world economy. It takes a special brand.
